i'm really glad Neon Bible didn't win it... a) it's not nearly as great as Funeral they're huge now, they hardly need any more exposure/press i also think Feist's album isn't nearly as great on the whole as the first one either, mostly because it's a bit too much of a downer for me.

saw Justin twice last week, both were absolutely incredible and some of my fave shows this year seeing him again a week from tomorrow too! curious to hear who he signed with tomorrow, apparently he turned down Merge...

i love the Hold Steady and Craig, but the intro of that cover doesn't work for me at all, his voice is just too different/weird to fit the song. once the band kicks in it's great though.
