oof. me too. Harp's is kinda crap. that new BoH is good, but hardly top 10 of the year material, especially when compared to the last album.

god this is even better than i remembered... definitely one of my fave post '00 albums
-
looks fantastic Lou, can't wait to read the rest later i'm a huge Artie Shaw fan
-
me too... there's definitely points of cringeworthy typical ganstah lyrics at times on the album, but the freshness of the beats and other lyrics along w/ his flow are just fantastic. Still Got Love is certainly one of my fave rap singles this year
-
^^ those last 4 are just from the EP fwiw
-
just keep pouring salt on the wound why don't you?
-
is my favorite thing they've done
-
wasn't actually released it's just a few members goofing around in 2001, long before they were the Arcade Fire and only features like maybe 2 current members at most i believe (which is why the vocals don't sound that familiar)

have had my MacBook for a year now.. my first laptop but i love it to death -
agreed. Someone Great->All My Friends is the best 1-2 punch on ANY record this year. as great as AMF is, Someone Great is my jam of '07 (well from that album anyway) HUGE huge improvement over the S/T, which was just ok but very scattered. plus the best songs were on the bonus disc. great song. i think Never as Tired as When I'm Waking Up from the first might be better in terms of LCD's "slo-jams" tho

Matt, the new Ike is pretty sweet
-
Jeremy Gara often drums for Jim Bryson
-
'06 in the UK, '07 in the US it was all over last year though
-
for Chicago peeps... Justin is playing Tomorrow Never Knows Festival at Schubas in Jan... this night has a pretty sweet lineup:
-
i can vouch that this album is pretty solid
-
New Shoes is one of the worst songs i've heard all year
-
check out Advice from the Happy Hippopotamus, it's just as good

Conor is playing 2 shows here at a small club in Minneapolis on Dec 29 & 30th... they are billed under his name and not Bright Eyes, and apparently he will not be playing ANY Bright Eyes material and will be debuting a new backing band... so... if this means M. Ward will be at those 2 shows already have a ticket to the 30th show, but if Matt is invovled, i'll hit up both for sure. and while i enjoy Bright Eyes (mostly post Lifted, although the last record was so so), Matt is so so much more amazing.
