Kerry had way more problems in '04 than the swifties, i think they had a pretty minimal impact on the outcome. the thing is, people, while sometimes stupid, can realize that Kerry is his own person, and just because of what he said, doesn't mean all other democrats feel that way (even if it were true). i mean, do you think that everyone now thinks that all Republian Senators/Reps are pedo's because of Foley?

weird, DBT kinda sucked until SRO ('01) IMO i really wish i liked KoL, i honestly do. i enjoyed the first EP a bit, but was totally let down by them live in '02 opening for The Coral, and especially w/ their 2 full lengths (though i prefer the 2nd one moreso) so many friends & musicians/bands i know and love, champion KoL, they just don't do it for me unfortunately

2002 over in your neck of the woods, '03 here and yeah, it's not as good as 'O', but there's 4-5 killer songs on it or me. only 2 that i don't like.

fwiw, DBT formed in '96, so if you saw them that year (which would be 10 years ago), consider yourself pretty lucky. i don't know that they played out of Athens much until '98 but yeah, to call DBT one dimensional, then champion KoL, is amusing, as someone pointd out. also, i just looked, the KoL guys aren't all "that young", Nathan is 27, Caleb & Matthew are 24, and Jared is going to be 20.

yeah, regardless of their ages differences (i don't know just how young KoL are, not that MMJ are old by any means), MMJ vs. KoL isn't even close.
