  1. btw, the archive server lost about the last month or so of posts, sorry :-/ but just think, that's what would happen w/ the main forum if i didn't implement an archiving system and just let the dB get out of hand
  2. the site may be down from time to time today (as it was for the last hour and a half), as something is causing mysql to crawl at times, and i'm trying to figure out what it is. please be patient
  3. let me know if your'e still having this problem w/ IE, apparently there was a bug w/ a select few # of configurations of users w/ IE 6 and SP2 (not all), that was fixed in this recent 2.1.1 upgrade
  4. if you store your avatar here on the server, you will need to upload it again unfortunately. thanks to Transmit for being a retarded FTP client if you link to an off site server, yours will be fine.
  5. it is now fixed (it's a temp fix until they release an update) thanks guys
  6. AH, now i see what you mean. i'll check their forums, see if it's been posted as a bug or if there's an option to change it thanks!
  7. that's the same as it's always been as far as i know, you can't quote nested quotes w/ invision
  8. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ ?
  9. weird. if you click on My Controls even?
  10. from what i can tell it only adds to your most recent reply if you go back and click on the reply next to another persons post, to quote it. if you click on the add reply or do a fast reply, it will always add a new reply
  11. yeah, it's actually a feature. i kinda see where they are coming from with it, but looking to see if you can disable it, or to find out exactly how it works. seems like there's a time limit. where if you edit or quote someone else in a certain period of time, it adds it to your previous post.
  12. hmm... might try and set the posting to use the old style of interface and not the new one, i think it should be a setting in your profile
  13. it is possible, yeah. don't know why on earth it would, but it is possible.
  14. i've got it set to only display on days there are birthdays
  15. weird, have not changed a single thing on the archive forum in well over 6 months or more
  16. not sure honestly :-/ i haven't really noticed any slowdown here, in fact as i said above, it seems faster for a lot of things.
  17. huh, doesn't seem like it would be an error w/ the site if you're getting something about your C drive do you have a different browser you can try?
  18. the colors are just the stock default 2.1 theme what's the error message? not seeing any here. and seems faster than before here actually.
  19. crappy thing is, i'd been testing the 2.1 beta's & release candidates and wanted to do a "test" upgrade first, but they didn't allow that until the last 2 beta's, and i didn't want to risk messing up the forum altogether. i did a backup of the v2.0.4 database just in case tho
  20. well, the conversion of my old theme didn't really work like they stated it would, so i will have to create a new layout for the forum. so hold tight for a few days hope you all like the new features
