I went to a game last week. They did seem to have some extra concession carts set up with Italian sausages, more pricey beer, etc. Still, compared to places like Camden Yards or FedEx Field, it's still way spartan. But people who need all the fancy BS tend to be people who don't really care about watching the game, anyway...

I remember when caliber bought a Go Go's cd...me and Wookies mocked him endlessly because of it. The funny part that I failed to mention at the time - I own (and greatly enjoy) the two disc "Valley of the Go Go's" best of thing. Ha.

The slightly chubby Belinda Carlisle, circa the first Go Go's album, was infinitely more attractive than the skinny "solo years" Belinda Carlisle.

My wife and I saw him a couple of years ago at Wolf Trap and had a great time. His records are kinda hit or miss for me though (Forever Blue and Baja Sessions are two that I really like).

In terms of just watching a game, it's a damn good park. There are a lot of good seats that don't cost all that much (the lower part of the upper deck - 400's section - is really great). It's easy to get to by Metro and by car...plus I can fondly remember the dozens of Redskins games my Dad and I saw there. In terms of ammenities...there really aren't any. But I'm perfectly content with beer, hot dogs, and a good seat. I plan to watch every game out West, sleep be damned. This is where the season turns around...

I caught the last game of the Braves series last week (Nats were shut out). I really wish they were going to stay in RFK for good...I love that place.

I wonder if the Reds would take Wily Mo back in exchange for Arroyo?

I'm not trying to be funny. I prefer Sean's earlier work in Phleg Camp (at least the stuff on Allied) to the Sadies. The "Bully My Pushy" double 7" was an amazing release. Besides, this is a message board. Sometimes disagreement and the intentional derailment of topics is fun and welcome.
