If you could have one band/artist open up for Wilco, who would it be? This should be realistic, so saying something like the Rolling Stones isn't really appropriate. Mine would definitely be Grant Lee Phillips. The would really compliment each other.

Don't you just love that. I had to take my wifes van to work the other night due to a "disagreement" that my truck had with a deer, and when I got in I was floored when the cd player kicked on and SBS came pouring out of the speakers. I work nights and when I got home from work this morning my wife who watched the show told me about it while we were getting the kids off to school and we actually expounded for about an hour on whether using the promise of listening to a Wilco cd was a good way to pick up girls. I naturally think it is a great pick up line but my wife disagrees.

I ordered my tickets last Thursday and I got floor seats in the middle about half way back, row Q to be exact. I live 2 hours away in northwest Ohio so I have never been to Fox theater. I hope they are good seats. This is my first WILCO show and it better happen or I will go all Jude Law on somebody. I checked on Ticketmaster just now and the only floor seats available are on the outside edge of the side seating. So hopefully it is a good sign

Oh yeah, I'm sure that would work. I've seen Sunken Treasure and something tells me Jeff still isn't real comfortable with people yelling things out. As for getting there early, unfortunately, I live 2 hours away from Detroit where I am seeing the show and my babysitter can't be there until 2 1/2 hours beforehand. So I'm going to have to high tail it just to make sure I get there in time. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Howdy all, I've got a quick question. I noticed on Wilco's home page a few weeks ago that they were taking requests specific songs to play during live concerts. Does anybody know if they are going to continue this for any upcoming shows? I am going to be going to my first Wilco show in Detroit on the 14th and was just curious. I had seen that they played Gun at one of the shows earlier this year and I'm really hoping they play it that night.
