  1. Just released it yesterday, so why the hell not?!
  2. I had some PayPal issues so, if you tried to download and failed (at least a few people did), thank you so much! And, I'm sorry. Also.. my PayPal issues have been fixed, so you should now be able to get your copy. And again, thanks so much for your support.
  3. It's good. Not great. Very early-70's AM pop kinda stuff. But, you know, the good stuff from that era. It certainly points the way to Big Star, but it's not there yet.
  4. It's solo/acoustic, warts-and-all. Just wanted to get some more songs out there while I had the bug up my butt and a little bit of time. So, I hope that you all check it out. This one is all me. If you listen, I hope that you let me know what you think. Thanks!
  5. This dude better be re-elected.
  6. So, I've been digging this band (what I've heard of them) since they made an appearance on the Repo Man soundtrack. I've also heard a couple other songs, here and there that have further kicked my ass. So, I went online to look for their albums and I find this one, their classic: for $200 USED!!! Out of print and all that. Does anyone have a copy of this album that they would be willing to point me to? Or, better yet, send me a burn of? The mofo is out of print so, in this case, I don't really have any qualms about taking a burn from someone. All I want is the music. I'm not a collector wil
  7. 3 underrated/underappreciated BritPop bands: • The Wonder Stuff • Boo Radleys • James
  8. Just heard a tune from this one yesterday: Sounded like the first one, which I really liked a lot. So, this is now highly anticipated!
  9. brisket at my mom's house!
  10. Here's another new one, and the last one that I'm going to post before the EP's release next week: "Past Tense" Kinda jazz, kinda not. Sung/spoken vocals along the lines of Leonard Cohen or Lou Reed. And clawhammer-style snap-and pop-guitar that I had to make swing. I hope that you check it out and that you like it.
  11. Just picked up the new Dr. John (produced by Dan Auerbach). Looking forward to putting it on.
  12. High on my list of movies to see, when I have the chance.
  13. Apparently, this one went to 88. Still, divisible by 11. Rest in peace, Jim. Thanks for The Sound.
  14. Produced by Dan Auerbach, right? How is this? I've been curious.
