That's why there are passing chords. Call the Hotline and they'll tell you how to modulate.

What do you think? I think it's easily her best album to-date; finally making good on all of the obviously great influences that she's had all along for an entire album. Marriage and motherhood has been good to her muse, it seems.

I'm gonna be a bastard and suggest something else altogether: or Seems like you would love either (or both), given the albums you are asking about. And, I will never stop pimping for the Brinsleys for as long as I live and as long as they are not legends, the world-over. Such a truly great band.

Hey Scott, I actually put the mix together for a friend of mine here at work, and chose some stuff that I thought he might like. But aside from that, there was no link at all to any of these things. The mix is what it says it is... random stuff from my iTunes. And... check your PMs
-
You people who got the mix, let us ALL know what you think, if you would, please. I like to hear what you think, and it's easier to keep a dialogue going like this, instead of responding to multiple PMs. I hope that you like it.

I have my own page at that site (which you know) and, therefore, frequent it pretty regularly. He's a pretty active member, so it was easy to find him there. There a few others there that I like quite a bit, as well, but that song pretty much blows me away. And the rest of his stuff is pretty great, too. Just another perk of the internet.
-
But, a musician that I discovered at the site where I have a page. I think that this guy is the Real Deal: great voice, great player, and -- most importantly -- great songs. BOB ELLIOTT at IAC In particular, check out: "As the Water Started to Rise" That's my favorite. RIYL: Bob Dylan, The Band, The Kinks, CCR I would love to know what you all think.

I almost brought that with me yesterday, but opted for the Gram solo two-fer instead. Such a great album, although I could do without "Hippie Boy".

I don't know that he's damaged or shut-in... just won't play live shows due to anxiety. He still does radio interviews and, as far as I know, is still a functioning member of society.

Actually, I'm asking for Self gratification.

Does anyone have this album?: Looks like the only thing commercially available from the guy who wrote THIS phenomenal song. (That's the Brinsley Schwarz version.) Here's the AllMusic bio:

I listed "Vanishing Girl" and "25 O'Clock". So... yeah.
