UPDATED LINK! Have at it. I hope you like it.

It doesn't get much better than this!

And maybe 3-ft. High and Rising. But this is awesome news. If they do a good to great job on the remaster, this could be really something. Who knows what else there is to be heard on those tracks? So dense.

I have yet to hear back from the wigmaker that it is done.

I guess that I should take this opportunity to announce my candidacy for the (soon to be) open seat of Governor of the great state of Illinois.
-
Tell me about it. Recommended if you like...?

I will definitely try to make the gig on the 30th. -
Watch his avatar, while listening to the song. Even better!

Pay to play politics. The man is clean! (But I guess I'm not.)

Why, yes! (Actually, they have my audition video at the website... it also aired on Channel 5, as part of their "Check, Please! on NBC". But this is about Barack!

He recommended the dixie kitchen & bait shop in hyde park Apparently it never aired because the (then) new State Rep. from Hyde Park dominated the conversation. If you're not familiar with the show, info here: http://checkplease.tv

Was that you on Brian Wilson's SMiLE album?!?! And... thanks. Good luck with the robot! -
I've just started getting into Crazy Rhythms and am loving it. "Fa-Ce-La" is too much fun.

Thanks for the props, Norbs. And thanks for listening. Most of the ads are music-related, and so tend to blend in to the site pretty well; but they should attract the attention of the music-focused people who frequent the place. Artists also sell mp3s through the site and, for a "Prime" membership pay a yearly fee (although it's pretty nominal). There is (or was) also a tie-in with Cashbox Magazine. But yeah, that player is compressed pretty well and plays LOUD. And Bunk: thanks for the bump. -

I got mine for $14 or whatever. Got lucky, I guess because I won't buy the mega-pricey imports, either.

Glad you're digging it. I just purchased this one, and it arrived in the mail today: Giving it a first listen now, and I'll let y'all know how it stacks up to Sounds... after I digest it.

You see, the site that I have songs posted at, has started a Pay-For Play program that I have bought into. They pay me for each unique play that each song receives each day. That is, I get paid every time somebody listens to my songs. So, if you are at your computer and get a hankering to hear some of my music (not too likely with many of you, I know), if you could do me a favor and go to: WWW.IACMUSIC.COM/HOPONPOP and give a listen over there instead of on your iTunes or whatever, I would appreciate it. It'll help me get some small amount of financing for my record. Thank you for

I was gonna guess that was Madness, but I see now that it's The Specials. Knew that it had to be some 80's ska band.

What's some of your favorite road trips you have been on?
PopTodd replied to remphish1's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Dating my wife at the time: From Chicago to the Cumberland Gap. Had nothing to do with the scenery or any of that; just the company. It was probably the trip that led to our getting married. -
