What bad call? Suarez clearly used his hand to keep the ball out. How this could be a bad call is baffling.

No way I would ever do that, after living with a Rangers fan for a 6 months. Also one of my best friends was in Manchester when Rangers played Zeit in the UEFA Cup. He walked out side in a Celtic green top. He was not thinking and the only thing that saved him was his American accent. He went home and changed.

With the favorites England and the US out now who is everyones pick. The last eight are set with 3 of the four ties being Europe vs South America. Ghana is the sole African representative with a favorable draw to get to the Semis.

I think the Semis will be Brazil v Ghana and Spain v Germany. Ensuring that Europe will have a chance to, for the first time, win a World Cup out side of Europe.

On a side note I was watching the US Ghana game at packed bar and was rooting for Ghana. I do live in the US, but I do not think that is enough for me to blindly support a team, much less one, that in my opinion was clearly inferior. After the game I was called a d-bag, right to my face. I am not a big sports person outside of soccer, so I was just wondering if this was regular occurrence at sports bars when people are rooting for different teams and one loses.

Shot in the dark, but I'll bet that the newest version of avg is made for a beefier computer than yours, and simply the program itself could be dragging your computer down. Basically, you have a program that's constantly running on an already little (by today's standards) engine, so when you try to do anything else, your computer is already running on less because it's also busy virus searching.

This is what I was most concerned about.

As far as Avast goes, is it a full security suite? I downloaded the free version, but do not want to get rid of my avg, despite the problems, unless I am protected.

I just downloaded the newest version of avg anti virus 9. something or other. Ever since my computer has been really slow. It lags out even when I am only using Microsoft word,and no other programs. When I am on the Internet with wither opera or firefox it is even slower. I have never had any trouble in the past with this type of high cpu usage.avgcsrvx.exe and avgchsvx.exe seem to be the main culprits of the high cpu. The avg forums are very specific and the moderators there are not very helpful. I have a dell inspiron e1705 four years old windows xp 997mhz and .99gb RAM any advice would be great.

I have 22% of my 72 gb devoted to Wilco et. al. That is side projects, solo albums, live shows, eps, and the like. I would say that my listening time is much more spread out, unless I just got a new live show. But really when ever I get something new I listen to it for about a week straight. I do listen to a lot of music everyday and usually Wilco manages to sneak in one way or another, but so do Phish, Dylan, The Beatles, and one or more members of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (Am I the only one who thinks that Steven Stills is the best of the four?)

Do you guys think that Portsmouth should get to go into the Europa league despite their financial problems? I think they should because it would actually help them get their house in order in terms of money.

I watched Barcelona's game against Deportivo yesterday. I really do not see how they can fail to win the league and Champions league again this year.
