  1. I've been making myself wilco compilation mixes as little gifts to myself lately too. Overall yours looks pretty solid except the little showing from AM and Being There and I always include Mermaid Ave stuff also. Just my opinion. I think it is wierd to have been on postcard back in the day in around 96 97 , growing up on late Tupelo early Wilco and the difference now with this message board that appears to be heavily inhabited by recent converts (. I guess records do mean different things to you based on where you are at in your life. I guess that is what Tweedy states in every inter
  2. ok, i'm going to come clean hear and set myself up. I like Ryan Adams (alot) I loved Whiskeytown (alot) I also loved Son Volt (not new recorganized Son Volt, but the real deal back in the day) In fact I at times struggled with who I liked more Wilco or Son Volt (Wilco has won) I guess I've never took sides in this big mess. Ryan Adams can be funny and can be an ass, I'm sure that goes for mr. Tweedy, Mr. Farrar (funny?) and myself and all of us. Now be nice ya'll.
  3. Also none of them wore long hair that well, but Jeff and John looked pretty good. I always liked Tweedy with long hair. The picture on the back of AM is my favorite picture of the boys. I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M WRITING ON A MESSAGE BOARD ABOUT SOME GUYS AND THEIR HAIR STYLES.
  4. Well that makes since, and I've been there. I thought you meant, for example, going to the store back on May 15th when SBS came out and buying the normal copy and the copy with bonus dvd material, just to have both. That would be a bit much? I guess you are obsessed if you have release dates from past wilco albums memorized?
  5. Ok, having grown up a stones throw from Belleville, I must say that until they rename the fountain the Jeff Tweedy fountain, it probably isn't worth the stop. Also why would you need the cd copy with bonus disc and a normal copy of the album?
  6. That is ok if one of the copies is the cd copy and one is the vinyl copy. If your multiple copies are all of one format, that is troublesome. UNLESS your worried of one getting worn out and possibly going out of print, and therefore you must always have a back up just in case. BTW: the vinyl copies sound so sweet, SKY BLUE SKY is great on vinyl spent last weekend dropping the needle on that one a couple times.
  7. When you just ordered a Wilco Sky Blue Sky Tour CreeMee (Ice Cream Cone) Toddler Tshirt for your 15 month old for his Easter basket.
  8. well i'm not sure about sarcasm, but if you truly did like my first post, I was just trying to help the greater good, because I would love for all the shows to have set lists. Just a Dream I know! Also, Tweedy doing solo acoustic Long Cut and Gun circa 1995 am tour was about as good as you could imagine.
  9. Ok, I'm new here to posting so please be patient with me. I have been looking through the setlists on the database and have noticed that my first Wilco show did not have a set list posted. I went through my stuff at home and found the stage copy that I obtained after the show. So here it is. A few issues though. 1. Who puts this on the database 2. I'm going to provide the setlist as it looks, but I know they veered from it at the end of the show, my recollection is foggy and I was in awe, so don't hate me 3. Help me with a few songs that I'm not familiar with Atlanta, GA Variey Pl
