Maybe you could explain my question that was ignored on the last thread, and perhaps I may understand the fear from the other side on O's tax plan. Can anyone show me how O's plan will bring the rich down? And when we speak of "rich" I mean the top 5% of the wealthiest people in this nation. Obama wanting to raise taxes on the 5% of the American (very wealthy) people who already hold most of this country

Does anyone have the dish on how Ronald Reagen hated Mccain? He is not a Reagan Conservative and keeps acting like he is. I just saw him on MSNBC doing a press release with Nancy Reagen today...a fall or something? Seems like a cheap trick to me. I thought most true right-wingers could not stand him? Remember when the nutty Ann Coulter said if McCain won the Republican nom she would vote Hillary? Just who is the real John McCain?

Jocelyn's story is a perfect example of what 8 years under the Bush administration has done to this country. During the bailout McCain urged Bush to once again ignore Congress and do what he wanted. Republicans tend to be the party that works against small farming, organic farming, alternative healing, vaccination choice..etc. Ya know, hippey stuff. Animal rights-McCain/Palin score very low. They lean towards corporate factory farming. Not that dems don't have a part in this as well. But Biden and Obama have a nice record on this, and have been endorsed by the Humane Society Of the United States. In many states you can be jailed for raw milk production.

I am one of the few I know, that actually watched the Green Party's National Convention. It made me laugh. I vote Obama over Baldwin, Palin, McKinney, Nader, and Barr...but would love to see them all debate in one room.

Me too! When I mention I want hemp and pot legalized I'm usually labled a nut. Funny thing is, I don't even smoke pot. I even have people freak out when I say I only drink milk straight from my in-law's cows. That's over the top to even some really strong dems. I haven't given myself the dem title yet. I love Kucinich, Ron Paul, Feingold, Biden,Obama...and UFO's.

I see what you are saying to some degree. But, Obama is not an unknown person. Look at all of the choices he has made in his life, then look at how he has run the campaign against HC, and now McCain. McCain ran a really weird and eratic campaign against Bush, and now Obama. He's never really got a handle on things.

The McCain running today is not who McCain really is period. If you read the history of McCain and compare it to the man he has become due to the desire to be president no matter what, I think you would understand. Palin, I don't even have to touch that one. She is an evangelical nut, not a true republican. True conservative republicans are running from theses people. The republican party is lost. Oh man, can I hire you? I'm a pile person. Piles of stuff everywhere. I actually function quite well in chaos. Sometimes the man will "fix" my piles leaving me lost, unable to find anything.
