  1. I don't consider Wilco a political band with an agenda either. U2, yeah, I got sick of going to hear music and getting way to much of Bono's agenda (although he does great things) instead of the music. I came for the music, nothing else. Oh, and I love Johhny Cash more than any musician dead or alive, but I don't believe in Jesus. That doesn't stop me from singing the hell out of his music screaming "Jesus" while jumping around drunk in the front yard. If Wilco spent more than a minute on Obama I would be a little annoyed. The most I saw from Nell's @ his show was an Obama sticker on a g
  2. I see her nipples and it looks like she's holding a pipe. So is this a pro-O shirt?
  3. No breast milk in ice-cream for me please. I do eat meat & drink milk, but it's mainly from the family farm next door. I am lucky enough to have raw-milk, fresh eggs, and organic beef/chicken in my backyard. I do avoid crap factory farmed meats and fast food..but not always 100%. I'm a wacko liberal, but I love meat.
  4. The Bush administration has ignored the constitution & Congress, & McPalin would continue that kind of shit. Remember, he told Bush to just give the bailout asap & ignore Congress, here. I can only imagine what he would do as president..more of the same. Blame everybody but most of all Bush and Dick. Blame the dems if you think it makes sense, but Bush has ignored more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, claiming he has the power over Congress when things don't go along with his interpretation of the Constitution. Congress should have checked that boy! He got away with so
  5. Speaking of animals...For the first time in its history, the Humane Society of the United States endorsed a candidate for the presidency, Obama/Biden.As they reported in their press release:read it here Barack Obama solid supporter of animal protection at state & federal levels as an IL state senator, he backed a dozen animal protection laws including strengthening penalties for animal cruelty & promoting spaying/neutering in the Senate, supported cosigned multiple bills to combat animal fighting & horse slaughter in his response to the Humane Society questionnaire, he pledged su
  6. Your sister sounds amazing, I love people like her! Is she a non-profit I could donate to?
  7. I put a slimey booger on a pic of Bush my old spa boss had hanging in the break room. It was a signed pic with his dog. I did it the day she told me she was gonna breed her dog because it sounded like fun . The booger stayed there and turned many different shapes and colors as it dried up on his face. I bet it's still there. I also put one on her fur trimmed coat once.
  8. He really annoyed me! Let them debate all they want, screw the rules..go over if you need to, football games do. It was lame the way he kept scolding them. You know, all this anger and fear McCain & Palin are creating scares me. The recent report concerning her mob of supporters turning on the media and screaming hate words & the "N" word over Palin's blame on Couric for a bad interview???WTF? This mob mentality shit can get crazy and should be put to a stop.
  9. I spent many hours searching nearby states online for her. I know it sounds silly, but national lost pet sites have been searched by me, she is likely not where you expect her to be. This is an issue I care deeply for, I hope she returns. I believe she will.
  10. That's cool! I love your shirt & the Obama one. I'll have to check out your music.
  11. Your absolutely right. Unfortunately, some Americans do buy into that jive. It worked for Bush, it can work for them. Watching some of Palin/McCain on the trail this week shows small crowds enjoying this game of fear of calling O a terrorist. They are also trying as hard as they can to get an angry rise out of O and make him look like a mean black man anti-American dude.
  12. Thanks to the Patriot Act and the Bush Administration you can be labled a terrorist for speaking out against the war or calling for impeachment. Following that line you will see groups and people targeted that advocate peace, a healthy planet, organic farming, alternative and holistic living and treatment, animal rights, pot, hemp use, freedom of religion, free speech, anything concerning racism, woman's rights....etc. After seeing Palin & McCain follow the Bush trend of fear with the use of the "T" word this week against Obama, I really have more concerns than ever about those 2. They a
  13. I don't want to make the wrong choice here dude. I need more info, need to know more about your dad, how many kids he has, what he does in his spare time...if you are a good son.
  14. I can only handle one election thread at a time, plus, I still have to think of a gift for your dad.
  15. Albright responded to Palin's remarks in a statement to the Huffington Post on Sunday. "Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom, what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-
