This adminstration suddenly cares about those devastated by Katrina, people who still do not have homes, education, healthy water, toxic clean-up, jobs, etc, and the Republicans are using this to their RNC advantage. It makes me ill to see McCain and Bush acting as though it is top priority now. Help is still needed from August of 2005.

I see your point on the the could be, and on the nudyness. I just believe in the First Amendment for everyone, and anyone denied this will slowly ruin it for everyone. I can't stand Phelps, but I respect his right to speak. It's important to seperate peaceful activist and violent losers, not an easy task for anyone. But, the preemptive raids were complete BS and may have sparked stupid violence and tension.No excuse for destroying property and attacking anyone though.

That's a good point, and something America should spend more time looking at. Peaceful protesters are sitting in jail right now, some in prison for years. That scares me. When you speak out about organic foods, vaccinations, war, injustice on any level, healthy water, racism...just about anything, you could be targeted for terrorism.

You mean't to say raids. The reason for the raids is the Republicans and the police do not want an opposing view to be seen by the rest of America. I don't recall seeing preemptive raids to intimidate protesters and quash dissent @ the DNC. Most of the raids were in private homes with children present, no protesting even going on.

Nobody replied to anyway . After watching it on the Free speech channel it seemed more real than just reading it. I follow animal rights and this sort of stuff happens all the time with little notice from America. It happens in organic farming,legal and Peaceful protest groups, anti-war groups..etc. I was even told I was put on a "special" government list for choosing not to vaccinate my child.People need to pay attention to this!

Bobbob, as a young Puerto Rican how do you, and possibly your young PR friends feel about Cynthia McKinney, the Green Party candidate, and Rosa Clemente the Black Puerto Rican VP canidate? I watched the Green Party Convention on the Free Speech channel, and McKinney is right on with my issues. Rosa, not so much. I was not impressed with her as a VP canidate, but as a person I think she has potential to go a long way.

It's a big waste with religious roots. Sex education works better than saying wait till marriage kids.Some people don't want to marry. Some people are told they can't marry. Some people like to bone... Besides, teen pregnancy is the fault of liberal media supporting movies like Juno and keeping a decent light on Brit's little sis Jamie Lynn. How many pro-lifers are stepping up and adopting kids living in horrible state funded facilites, or are in the foster care programs? How many kids have you helped? Child abuse programs? Domestic violence programs? Single mother groups? After school programs for single parents? Abortion is not a valid form of birth control, but sometimes it is the best choice. Research for 5 minutes what happens in countries where abortion is ilegal. Mom and baby die. Better choice I guess.
