I was a critter nanny in Colorado. I worked with a woman who owned a doggie daycare and had a zillion ferrets. I had about 30 or so dogs all to myself each day to look after. I could see the Rocky Mountains, play with dogs all day, and get paid! I also ran an in home pet sitting business on the side. I left Colorado with a love for dogs and subaru outbacks!

I just adpted 2 babies that have been in a cage @ the shelter since July. We named them Obama and Pongo. I'll post pics later. FHF is mad at me because we now have 5 dogs and 6 cats...as if that's too many. There is a 40 pound (well it's big) cat there waiting to be put on the adoptable list. I may go back for that one as well, don't tell FHF.

No.I saw Obama speak 3 times this past month and most of the time he was just talking to us like a regular guy. Last week he was so much more relaxed and less annoying. I enjoyed hearing him talk about MO and our leaders. Got tired of the speech parts I had heard over and over on TV, but he had a good balance between being real and being rehearsed,and lots of humor. All the rallies I went to were so positive.

I was surprised by Rove's words and attitide. I almost liked him for a second, but I was a wee bit wasted by that time. I have to catch Fox's take on things, sorta addicted to it. I can't stomach Hannity though. I am a MSNBC girl all the way. I love Rachel Maddow & Olbermann.

I'm happy to say Missouri now has a Govenor that cares about protecting our environment and takes on nasty factory farms. MO is going to be a cleaner and greener state. Congrats Nixon!

Obama lost in Missouri by only 5,860 or so votes. Nader took 11,000, and Barr about 6,000 or so. At least this is what Fatheadfred told me today. I'm to tired and hungover to look anything up. I'm just so happy and proud MO almost elected Obama, and my signs are still up. I feel the need to steal the best VC post of the day from Kimcatch22 (I love it)...I have a hangover and I can't tell if it's from excessive beer, hope, or change.

Voting is so boring compared to the all the excitement @ the Obama rallies I went to. Had the sterile well lit nursing home feel. Nobody under 70 was working the place.There were only 10 people voting with me(gotta love rural MO). 1 minute-paper

I keep it low to compete with a local spa. No beans, I promise! Better get some beef soon, a cougar has killed 2 calves, and two got hit by cars. Luckily nobody was hurt or in the mood to sue. Go to Chicago! I would do just about anything to go.
