I am very excited for anything Animal Collective produces. I was curious as to the favorite album of other Animal collective fans. For me it's a toss up between Strawberry Jam and Feels. Very different but very deep albums. Let me know what you think.

From USA today a new interpretation of the Beatles

Barack Obama and G.W both snorted coke....Drugs transcend politics because almost everyone like/uses them. Oh, and the Beatles were not conservative in any way. I was glad people had already responded to the 2nd amendment rights line by the time I read this..absolutely ridiculous. who pays this guy to write? -

I used to listen to fast paced "pump up" songs but now I find it best to listen to songs I connect with emotionally. Or just good music in general gets me more pumped up that something with a quick beat.

Fly Around my pretty Little Miss - Built to Spill Peacebone - Animal Collective Vanishing Spies - Frank Black Transdermal Celebration - Ween Right before a race I always listen to "Winters Love" by Animal Collective. Tough for me to listen to that song now, so emotional it gets me so fired up. I can only listen to it once every few months

Anyone have thoughts on what Wilco will be playing at Tanglewood? I've noticed they've been playing a good amount of their SBS stuff lately but at palooza they played a lot of YHF and Being There which is always great. This'll be my first show and I'm excited as a pp.

Can anyone tell me that the best track on SBS is better than the worst track on YHF or Summerteeth? Sure there are a few good songs on SBS like Impossible Germany, Please Be Patient with me and You Are My Face, but this has got to be Wilco's worst album. That said it is still a decent album but I expect greatness from Wilco. I love Wilco but SBS is a step in the wrong direction. And maybe it will appeal to a wider audience but the music is not as good and no where near as deep as their other albums.
