Thank you! Downloading right now

Those who really like Sky Blue Sky (and those who don't, even) ought to scroll up to the Wilco Archive link and download the 05/16/2003 Martyr's show - or at least "You're Really Gone." It's Hate it Here in its earliest incarnation, nicked from a cassette Jeff recorded around the time UT made Anodyne. Completely different, sparse and haunting. Here are the lyrics: http://www.bemydemon.../reallygone.htm
Sorry but I think that show is not in the Wilco archive:

I hope that songs not present in all formats will be (legally) available to buyers of any format via downloading from Wilco web
-
Jeff's singing is fantastic here, with those changes from falsetto to...whatever. Impossible to singalong without damaging your throat.

Not deserving a thread but this is hilarious. Jeff covering Black Eyed Peas
-
Thanks Wilco, you've made my year
-
I'm feeling so miserable, the sound system crashed...
-
it seems this board is full of 'insiders'
-
Maybe if they stopped making mediocre records, people would stop throwing that word around.
Mediocre in relation to the previous ones? Sure. But the last two were way better than any other record edited in 2007 and 2009. I'm just a fan.

"but “One Sunday Morning” sounds more and more like as good a song as Tweedy’s ever been involved with. What do you think?"
------------
I'd love to be able to think something
-
What, one song?
Red-Eyed and Blue

Don't we have enough Wilco songs that have a whistling solo?
No, we still lack some whistling that is not out-of-tune

David Kilgour and The Heavy Eights - Left by Soft (2011)

that makes it sound horrid.
"... the band’s eighth album is like a tour of its previous seven, with something to tickle every kind of Wilco fan"
changing seventh by eigth, the same was written (or said by Jeff in interviews) on WTA. Oh no.

KT is not an studio album

I agree with Benjamin Franklin that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy but I would add that the internet, particulary message boards, is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. Put beer and this thread together, thanks Jules, and I would be very happy.
Upon reflection, Jules is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
Invalid proof....At least until the thing leaks

Happy birthday Jeff!, see you in Madrid

This seems like it from last year or so. I never seen it before.
I always forget what the policy is for Wilco videos - take off it mods., if need be
Yes, Billy was introduced by Jeff as "a member of the extended Wilco family". I think this was in Amsterdam

The Ramones, Madrid Vista Alegre Bullfigting Arena, Sept 1980.

I seem to remember "The Raccoonists" as one of the passed over names for Loose Fur. I believe it can be found on the back of the self-titled record?
Yes, without the 'The', besides Nuts, Men, Scrotales, Mentalists and, um, Loose Fur
