The problem for me is that unless a show is in mp3 form, I can't seem to get it to download. Or rather, I can download but I can't seem to convert to mp3 ...
Try download this http://www.wmamp3-converter.com/; it's free and easy

I certainly don’t hate Foo Fighters, I’m just indifferent to them, and since this site isn’t called “Via Foo Fighters”, it’s reasonable to expect some snarky post-Grammy comments.
Winning awards is nice, but I don’t look to the Grammys to validate my tastes in music, anyway. Therefore, I applaud Foo Fighter’s win, but will I buy their cd? Nah. I may run to the local library and take it out for a week, tho.
Conversely, I’m more than happy to book a hotel, and drive hundreds of miles to see Wilco…I buy virtually anything they put out, and truly love this band, and always will. I’m certainly not alone.
That kind of fan base doesn’t come from winning Grammys.
I'm with you!

He has not written any really great great song since the Darkness/The River period, IMHO

"it seems like irony has always been lacking in Wilco"
really?

Is it true that before the recording of this album Jeff was given guitar lessons by Richard Lloyd? I thought that I read that somewhere but I've never heard that reinforced by online fans or other articles. His guitar work on the album is killer and speaks to me much more than most of Nels's Post-Sky Blue Sky contributions. .
I read somewhere that the lessons of Lloyd were a brthday present of Jeff's wife.

Happy shredding to you, Nels!

there's nothing right with Coldplay

What kind of weirdo would photoshop this?
Nels and Bill Frisell are friends. I have no doubt this photo is real. I'm just curious when Wilco shared a bill with him. Actually, that orange Tele looks like the one Nels has been playing, so maybe Bill was just dropping by the backstage area while attending a Wilco show and they decided to jam.
If I remember well there's some recording in Owl & Bear with Frisell joining the band in 'California Stars'

I think you win! First 100% response! Nothing you don't like by Wilco??? I am also suprised more of you haven't included them in your list.
Nope! I'm able to enjoy ALL of their albums, though not to the same degree, obviously. If anything, I'm beginning to be fed up of hearing 'A shot in the arm' but this is my fault, probably due to over-esxposure (á la Clockwork Orange-style)

"I Might" as the soundtrack of a bunch of X-mas programs to be broadcasted in TV1, the main public Spanish TV channel.
It's all right!

Some days I think a copy of YHF is all I really need. And then I listen to Being There, and then decided that's all I need. And then I listen to The Whole Love and know that this band still has a lot of greatness left.
:) :) :)

It's funny - I have never cared for Steely Dan, but I love WIlco's version of that song.
In my mind, the best homage to Steely Dan by Wilco is not a cover but 'Capitol City', strongly reminding SD's cover of Ellington's "East St. Louis Toodle-Oo"

Nice. That's what I thought of too, couldn't think of the name of the piece...
Yes, but in my mind it reminds me of this

To my non-English grown ears, something as "I believe I've seen the finger's divine extremity" is really hilarious
-
In my next life at leat, I envision myslef as hearing Wilco's cover of L&M's 'I've got a feeling'

Wilco's antidote is also perfect

As long as they leave Paul alone if he dares to sing Obladi Oblada (aargh), I'd be moderately happy with that
