I like any awkward interaction that Michael has in front of an audience.
The 30 Rock episode was so much better.30 Rock was hilarious! Funniest one this season. I loved all of Liz' "advice".

I'm waiting for the CD, I love that whole experience.
trying so hard to resist the leak.

I just wanted to say that some of your avatars mess me up. For example I just posted a reply on Pop Todds and his weird guy smoking a pipe makes me think I wouldn't like this guy he seems like a know it all. Or take speed racer's, I assume speed racer is younger female (and maybe that is true) but for some reason I don't think that is true. Or who is it with the picture of the guy with beard and glasses and then he revealed he doesn't have a beard and that picture isn't him. I'm telling you guys, my perception of all of you is directly related to your avatar.
I like Maneki Neko, have a small collection.
Saw one on the back of Jeff's "nudie" jacket last summer
I look like Tina Fey (so "dressing" as Sarah Palin for Halloween wasn't much effort - only required wearing a blazer & putting my hair up).

so lastnight went downtown to see the screening of Ashes... afterwards we went to a bar on the corner to meet my friend & they played various Wilco for about an hour! I had to explain to him that I never hear them out & and that it was a pretty big deal for me.
-
That was a fun time, I'd forgot what a huge cinema the Bloor is. The presenter announced herself as a huge Wilco fan, Canty and Green were there too and they did a Q&A afterwards that was pretty nice. Good film. Not exactly what I was expecting, but very enjoyable.
We saw it at the Royal last night. Canty & Green were there too doing Q&A (said they were working on something for Eddie Vedder's solo tour next).
Not what I expected either, was thinking more commentary.
Movie was great, loved seeing "Wishful Thinking".
Went to Sneaky Dee's afterwards to meet a friend & they played Wilco for about an hour!

i had posted this in the Now Watching on Youtube thread, but it deserves to be posted again here:

Cherry Bomb & Underdog, my two favorites.
Just love Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.

Hey, everyone gets their own top 100!
We could do this again this summer, if people are interested.
I'm in... wasn't around last summer.
100 Albums or bands... songs, too hard.
Loved reading the results from last summer & discovered some great new stuff too!

Its from October of last year, but I didn't find it in a search. It was on this morning.
They actually play this video pretty often, I've seen it a few times.

OK last nights episode was nto the best, but I loved the whole casual day theme. Meredith was hilarious.
Q: Where is your underwear?
A: It's casual day!
I love creeed too, and he seemed extra creepy yesterday in a weird way for him.
I loved the Casual Day theme... it was just like at my work, everyone tattling on each other. Somehow we turn into 5yr olds when we wear jeans at work.
That Meredith bit was hilarious!

How fantastic is this!?
just amazing! been playing it almost non-stop for 2 weeks

I find it absurd that it costs $10-15 to have an envelope with a couple pieces of paper shipped to my house, when I can order a TV (or books or CDs, etc) and get it delivered for free.
Let's not kid ourselves - TM does this because they can. And it's sad to see the other competing outlets follow suit. Unless I'm missing something fundamental about their business model, I don't see any justification for these stiff "convenience" fees.
The last time I ordered tickets through TM, I opted to print my ticket, rather than wait for it in the mail.
There was a fee for it, around $3 a ticket I think, but still.
Ridiculous.

I didn't think it would be that easy to get rid of Charles. I love Jim, but liked that Charles didn't.
I was kinda hoping for some Michael vs Charles epiosodes.

I was at a neighborhood party recently.........the host had an arcade game programmed with 250 games......many of them the old time classics like Battlezone, Defender, Joust, etc. I was so tempted to just immerse myself into it but resisted.
my husband's step-mom owns a Pool table place & she has all the conncetions...
He just got a similar "card" for his game, it has all the classics on it, all those, Ms Pacman, too!
-
I knew they would play at the Phoenix.
-
I say "often" with a "t".
I work in insurance & hear car names mispronounced all day... a client today said "hrrr" instead of the initials H.H.R.
-
What did you think of it? I was quite pleased with it apart from it being obviously unfinished. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool( I presume) was a bit of a non runner though.
I loved seeing the movie in that stage, found it all very interesting, but very distracting from the actual movie.
We're still going to take the 10 yr old to see it in the theatre.
-
I said I love them, but that is based solely on In the Aeroplane. I could never get into On Avery Island.
I like them both equally. Three Peaches kills me.

Still listen to their music from time to time and get sentimental....
I was 16yrs old when he died & still remember that day.
