im playing the lost videogame. it kinda sucks, but its cool to go in the hatch. i feel like i know way more about the series then i should while playing it. oh well.

okay, so heres the deal. my credit card has this rewards program thingy, which i stumbled upon whilst checking my balance. apparently, i have enough "points" to get one new album for free. its basically through amazon, so i can get anything.

ive been having a really hard time deciding on what to get. i want something new, but im not sure what. i was thinking about getting a copy of strangers almanac, but ive heard that so many times.

personally, gary louris is the reason i got into the jayhawks in the first place. mark olson never really did it for me, although i love the jayhawks stuff he was involved in.

im looking at a bunch of eq pedals to use with my tube amp, a peavey classic 30. has anyone had some good experience with them? which ones are good, and how do you use them?

my friends and i just got our 2 day passes in the mail. were driving from new york; we couldnt pass up the jayhawks, hold steady and black crowes at one show. the counting crows and romantica should be awesome too.

its sort of a pilgrimage for us, since we love the replacements and husker du and all the great music that came from there.

were looking for a cheap place to stay... any ideas?
