Judging from the documentary My Best Fiend and all the other stories I've heard come out of Herzog's mouth, I'd assume that a lot of it is true. He does say in My Best Fiend (the film) that he and Kinski would sit around and make up insults that Kinski could put in the book directed at Werner, because they both understood that people would only find the book interesting if they played up their disagreements. The fact that they both made serious plans to murder each other at the same time kind of shows how mad they were though - I think Werner planned to fire-bomb Kinski's house or something. Y

Every time I look at this thread I can never quite work out if this thing is going on or not. Is it happening? Is it too late to put my name down for I'm A Wheel? When's the deadline etc?

If we are going for women who looked good in the past you can add these two (although, unlike Emmylou Harris - they're not so great looking now): jane birkin (not serge!) jenny agutter (mainly due to her voice, but she looks great in logan's run)

Here's some more British pop stars that need some appreciation: Rachel Stevens The Sugababes (as a whole). They kind of add up to more than the sum of their parts in my view Girls Aloud (as a whole). Again, they only really work when all put together
