  1. I think he would have had a hard time getting in the side anyway really.
  2. He retired himself from the National game after Euro 2004 to focus on playing for Manchester United, it's not that he was washed up or anything, he'd just had enough I guess.
  3. Apart from backing England, I always like to root for Spain as they are about as bad at achieving their potential as we are. I like their football too. It's going to be a European team final though I think, whoever makes it, I just get that feeling.
  4. The first time I saw it was under duress, as I said to one of my friends (who loves Janeane Garofalo) that everything Janeane Garofalo is in is as a general rule - shit. However, he proved me wrong, not only with this, but also with The Independent. "When I was at camp, my favorite activity was always arts and crafts. Or, as we used to call it: arts and *farts* and crafts. We used to make drawings... cave drawings! Which is my way of saying we were cave men. I went to camp so long ago, that I can remember saying "sticks and stones may break my bones" and meaning it! I went to camp so long ag
  5. Is it good? Now that the english summer has definately arrived, I'm going to watch Wet Hot American Summer! "Excuse me, ladies. You may remember me as the guy who came to dinner a few weeks ago with underwear on my head. My name is Keith Stat from Millburn, New Jersey. State bird, the mosquito. And as you may have heard I am recently a crowned class B dungeon-master. So if any of you would like to play D&D today, please speak now or forever hold your peace"
  6. Do gif animated rockstar girlfriends count? If not, then they should

  8. There's far more mutton than lamb down on Emmerdale Farm - so you're not missing out on much: (This picture will self destruct in 30 seconds)
  9. Ok, here's a few more to mull over: Brazilian musician Cibelle And a couple of the Zutons Abi Harding . . . it's all about the sax.
  10. You get a partner from all the people that want to take part, then you have to make them a mix of ten songs, no more, and post it to them on yousendit.com After which, the person says how much they loved or hated it, and they post the link here for us all to listen to. The theme (if you want one) of the mix is normally up to you. I'll be in again.
  11. Cheers mate, that's really good of you. I'll have to have a long hard think about if I'm going to go or not - I don't even know what weekend it's on yet!, but if I do then I might hold you to that.
  12. Acoustic Chumbawamba! There looks to be some pretty good artists on. If by some miracle Emmylou Harris, Richard Thompson, The Broken Family, Tom Russell & Tift Meritt all play the same day I think I'd take a trek up to Cambridge myself.
  13. I've seen the video and the songs not too hot to be fair, although she's kind of still got it I guess. The video is bad, so maybe a Top of the Pops appearance will be in order for a better analysis.
  14. Basically what I've done in the past when I've recorded noise tracks is put down a whole bunch of noises - eg. scratching guitar strings, making noises with my mouth, tapping glasses of water, blah blah blah and then I slow them down massively, reverse them (this is great to build up to a song or chorus becuase having reversed the sound it will build up very slowly getting louder and louder, but then suddenly reach a peak and cut off at the desired point). putting whatever effects you've got on to these sounds will also be good, but really all you need is what I've just said because as soon as
  15. Here's a load of pics in memory of Daisyduke (where's she gone to?). All women are from the show Hollyoaks, by the way: Don't know any of there names, and I could go on forever as the show is simply full of them, but I'll stop now.
  16. I know you're not 'quite' that old. I haven't seen the film by the way, is it good?
  17. Now I now you're lying! It hadn't even been written then!
  18. One of my favourite books of all time, although Tortilla Flat still tops it - so if you haven't read it before, then you gotta do so next.
  19. If you think that's good. Then this woman co-presents a daytime show for the elderly on British TV:
  20. No Denise Van Outen was just a presenter on Breakfast Television. Jasmine Lowson was the news reader:
  21. Man that is wrong! She is one of the few women I'd happily go down for murder for. Actually she's making my blood boil just thinking about her right now, so I'm going to have to stop.
  22. I don't think anyone's posted MIA yet, and there aren't enough Asian women in this thread for my liking. It helps that her music is pretty fun and interesting too; so here's a few pics:
  23. Not a RSGF either, but a good thing to watch at 7.26 in the morning:
  24. They're classically trained; that's how. yes, she is isn't she.
