  2. Ill Fight and One Wing are my 2 favorite songs on the record so far
  3. Wilco and DMB are nothing alike...not even a little.
  4. Hmmm, right now: Theologians Shot In the Arm Say You Miss Me
  5. Too much overanalyzing going on...maybe its just a collection of songs the band liked.
  6. I disagree totally about Radiohead, and I know I'm not alone here. Not everyone thinks they make great music. In my opinion they sacrificed songwriting and good tunes for the sake of being "experimental" or "weird." And thats a shame. They used to be a great band.
  7. 101.7 , I heard it on Paul Driscoll's show.
  8. All artists borrow from other artists, its not something bad. Anyway, I heard this song on WFNX in Boston last night.
  9. I enjoy SBS, also surprised at some of the hate on here. Its just a collection of good songs. Not every album has to be "experimental."
  10. Gets better with each listening, I'm quite happy.
  11. Tweedy responded to the suit with a statement to Paste, saying: "I know exactly as much as everyone else does. I've read the news and I honestly have no idea what these claims are based on. It was such a long time ago. Aside from everything else, I'm being sued for not paying someone for appearing in a movie I didn't produce. Go figure. I am truly sad it has come to this. I am equally convinced, however, that I have done nothing wrong and that this will be handled fairly and swiftly." http://www.nme.com/news/nme/44485
  12. All artists "borrow" from other ones. I can cite plenty of instances of the Stones or even The Beatles were they borrowed as well. In most cases, Zeppelin made it there own. I mean, Whole Lotta Love doesnt sound at all like Dixon's version. Usually it was a case of not changing the lyrics enough...I mean, how many blues songs have nearly identical lyrics?
  13. Besides the fact that they both covered You Shook Me, Truth and LZ I dont sound very similar. Lots of those 60's artists were very jealous of the success Zeppelin eventually had. Wether it be Keith Richards or Pete Townsend, you can find plenty of jealousy from interviews they gave back in the day.
  14. Theologians is one of my favorite Wilco songs. I dont know why its in the overrated category.
  15. I think this record is a little uneven, but not nearly as bad as some people here are saying. There are 4 or 5 songs on this record I really like, its solid. Not every album can be amazing. I do agree Z is the better albim...personally I've been listening to Okonokos a lot recently.
  16. Probably listened to Being There the most recently, followed by A Ghost is Born and Sky Blue Sky.
  17. Wilco My Morning Jacket Oasis Page & Plant Afghan Whigs
