I don’t think that is what is going to happen. It is only the name of the app that is changing, and the name change is only on Apple devices. iTunes for Windows will remain.I'm sure as hell not paying Apple for "Apple Music" just so I can play songs I ripped from CDs in 2008 or whatever.
I use the “Apple Music” app on my iPod touch all the time, but not as a streaming service, only to access my own library.
I think you are panicking needlessly.

Nice free Jeff show July 26 Lincoln Center outdoors NYC

I didn’t make it to Diana Ross, but caught Smokey Robinson earlier and he sounded fantastic. It’s hard to believe he is 79 years old.

This story completely warms my heart. Jeff Tweedy is one good egg.He did. We were able to spend some time together earlier in the tour, and sang before a show. He was really impressed(which I still can’t believe.... just
) and asked if I wanted to do it on stage that night. I declined that night cos I was way too nervous, but I mentioned we were going to other shows too, and that Chattanooga was a hometown show(that I had been hoping for since I started listening to Wilco at 13), and he said we should definitely do it on stage. I was very nervous, but dang if Jeff believes in me I ought to believe in myself too.
The day of the show in Chattanooga came and I knew he wasn’t feeling well cos I saw where he couldn’t do his book event in Decatur the day before on Instagram. I felt awful cos he felt so poorly, and I was very surprised he even wanted to do the show given his condition. I would not have blamed him had he cancelled, it sucks to work when you’re sick
He seemed to feel a bit better later in the afternoon, so we ran through it once at soundcheck. I can’t get over how sweet he was to me. I mean over the years we’ve had moments, but it just blows me away he thinks as highly of me as I do him.
I gotta say also, that the Wilco crew is also amazing and hardworking, and just as sweet as Jeff is.
All the warm fuzzies.

Wow, congratulations!
You two sound beautiful together!

Not in NYC, for an artist like Wilco.a club show for under $50? that's incredibly easy.
Nick Lowe with Los Straitjackets sold out an upcoming club show in NYC for $40+$10 fees = $50.
I would put Wilco as an equal to or slightly more desirable ticket.
(I sadly put off buying one of those Nick Lowe tickets too long and got shut out.)

I have since been reminded by someone on another forum that many of the songs Joey sang were written by Terry. So I guess what I miss is Joey singing Terry’s songs. Thanks for the feedback. I started seeing them in late 70s/early 80s in CT. Would still check them out even with the obvious missing parts.
. See the band if you get a chance, they’re still as fun as always, as I said.

Terry Adams is the only original left, yes. It's just Terry Adams left, right? How was it...?
This was the 2nd time I’ve seen this particular version of the band. They are very, very good, and as fun as ever, yet I can’t get over the gaping hole left by Joey Spampinato’s exit. They still do many of his songs, and they’ve found a guitarist and bass player who can sound like him. They all swap instruments and are all pretty adept at whatever instrument they’re playing. Terry is clearly the leader of this new band, and is the only strong personality in the band. I thought NRBQ was at its best when Al Anderson served as the perfect foil for Terry. The new lineup could use that. Having said that, I would recommend seeing them, they’re a great band. It’s just not NRBQ to me - it’s Terry and 3 other guys who are really good, but something intangible is missing. The new songs are in the same style of the old ones.
I may be a bit too cranky because I have been a fan for 30 years and don’t really know what went down between Terry and Joey, but I feel like Joey got the short end of the stick.

I love Keep It Like a Secret, and most of their recordings, but I saw the band years ago and I thought their live performance was a huge let down. I felt the same way about Pavement when I saw them years ago: loved the records, but couldn’t get into the live show at all. Either I had the very bad luck of seeing both these bands on an off night, or some bands are just better at making records than performing live.

I thought it was a good game. It wasn’t a blowout, so that kept it interesting. For most of the game, since no one was scoring, I was kind of on the edge of my seat (rooting for NE), because I knew any score by either team was going to be hard for the other team to counter. The last few minutes were the least exciting of the game, because LA just seemed to fold.

Wow, so sorry to hear this. I can’t believe even lawyers are temps now. (All that tuition money!!! I feel your pain!) I’m glad I bailed out of law school after one semester.Yesterday I lost my job. Well, I think I lost my job because they sent us home and told us not to come back until we hear from them. And because their messages have been very cryptic. I suppose it wasn't technically a job because it wasn't permanent. But I lost the job I'd gotten not long after my dad passed away late in 2017. It was a surprise, as they'd already asked us for our availability through February and were talking about the project on which I'd been working for months lasting into the summer.
Today, as on most days, I'm questioning why I ever chose to go to law school.

Saw "Stan & Ollie" tonight. Really enjoyed it. BBC Films does great work.
I thought Steve Coogan was perfect as Stan Laurel. Great film!

I always look forward to the conference championships and think those are among the best games of the year. The Super Bowl can be hit or miss, but the conference championships are almost always exciting games with pretty evenly matched teams. This past Sunday was fantastic.

I’ve seen that before on my phone. I have an old Samsung Android phone that does everything I need it to do except buy tickets through Ticketmaster. It has been a while since I bought concert tix on TM. Can anyone explain this BS I got?
"We apologize. We are unable to complete your request on this device.
So that you may continue to shop, we recommend using a different device (laptop, phone, tablet, etc.). Using a shared device? Make sure you're logged into your Ticketmaster account."
First time I ever saw that message. And now all the good tickets if not all the tickets have vanished before my eyes.
Good luck on your quest for tickets. Wish I could go but work sadly will not allow that.
