Let's hope they don't follow the trend of sticking animation sequences in the film to portray what the narrator is saying. I hate that shit. I think I first saw it in that sketchy Ginger Baker film.

I'm about 46 minutes in for now. I forgot that Chris was a preppy guy back then. There are videos of Mr. Crowe's Garden live shows out there. If you watch them - Chris sounds like he is straight out of Georgia (which he was). It's amazing to think that Steve had only been playing for a few years by the time they made those first two albums. Listening to the rest now - I think those Amorica demos are what we have on the bootlegs that appeared many years ago now. It was funny seeing Bobby Cannavale in some of the episodes. I know him from a show called Third Watch.

I have not listened to it yet - but that is what Steve Gorman's old podcast use to be - him telling stories.

I think Howard was probably just trying to get Chris to talk about his brother.

Me too - the version from the film - with my mystery dancing girl who has always captivated me.

I also wondered about that. The time period seems to be all sort of weird to begin with. Sort of like Blue Velvet. It is suppose to be modern day - but sometimes it seems as if they are in the late 70s/early 80s.

I can understand. I think they should have just done one or two seasons and called it a day.

I use to watch the Ernie Kovacs Show at some point in the early/mid 1970s. When I was a teenager I liked to watch Monty Python, but now I can't stand that stuff.

I liked Master of None. I wonder if he can pull it off a second time. Speaking of Amazon, they just added a show I use to watch in the late 90s - Lexx. It's not for everyone.

I was about to bail on the show - until last night's episode.

When I walking into town this morning - I was thinking about how I don't care for the use or animation in many recent music documentaries I have seen. Now I am watching last night's episode of Fargo. And what do I see? Animation.
