  1. I hope the rest of the songs are not like that one.
  2. I was outside the venue when some of those songs were recorded. We couldn't get tickets to the show. And I am pretty sure I bought the tape at a record store around there somewhere (Long Beach).
  3. The whole thing is up on YT - until it gets taken down, anyhow.
  4. It would have been cool if Alex was there also. Neil I think has totally disengaged from all things media.
  5. He has a book coming out about his Bass collecting I think.
  6. What's that about? I saw a photo of Ritchie Blackmore wearing a shirt the other day that had the words If The Grateful Dead Can Do It. . .Anybody Can... on the front of the shirt in white letters.
  7. I love that song Loser. But I have to say I judge all versions by the April 29th 1971 version. I only know that date do the Ladies and Gentlemen release. The sound of Jerry's guitar is just exactly perfect.
  8. We must have missed one. I just removed it - I think.
  9. They don't want the living room shows up there or shared. We had to take them all down several years ago.
  10. I wonder if they will end up including a dvd with out takes from the film (if they actually do a YHF box). I have pretty much given up on buying box sets or re-issues. But I think I will actually listen to these Wilco re-issues.
  11. Let's Hear it for Rock and Roll I bet. The YHF will probably be the most elaborate and best selling I would think.
  12. Interesting that some of those songs never made it to trading circles - Myrna Lee is a great song (John wrote it). We know the song from the Blue Mountain album Home Grown. I always figured there was a Wilco version around somewhere.
  13. If I recall correctly - there are A.M./Summerteeth/Mermaid Ave./YHF/ demos around. But I don't recall ever finding any sort of Being There demos.
  14. I bet it will be live shows on some of those discs.
  15. That would be an awesome thing to have.
  16. Well, that is a mystery. Ok - we have it listed but it was not uploaded/we don't have a source.
  17. It's up at The Wilco Live Show Archive.
  18. During Spring Training I clicked on that channel and thought the cable overlords had somehow added it to the line-up. I eventually learned it was just some sort of Spring Training promotion deal. It magically went away when the season started. I feel fortunate these days that the Pirates have a network that shows almost all the games. I can recall a time when that was not the case. I am not interested in watching any other teams or games. So my season of Baseball watching is finished.
  19. The 6/30/2001 show is up at the Wilco Live Show Archive.
  20. You can still go to Wilcobase and see if there is a show listed under the set list for a particular show. The links don't work anymore - but you can just go to The Wilco Live Show Archive and look up the show.
  21. Wasn't there a time not too long ago when they also took some extended time off? I can't recall when that was. I also remember a time when they mostly toured in the Spring and Summer. That is going way back probably.
  22. Just think of all the money being spent on lawyers. They should get their shit together.
