I am curious how you police that. I guess they will have people going around checking things out.

What's really wild - is to listen to that early stuff (Takes Off) and then Surrealistic Pillow and then After Bathing at Baxter's. It's quite a change they went through. Surrealistic Pillow has been one of my favorite albums since I was a kid. I think it is one of the best albums of the time period. I pretty much stop at Volunteers. Although I do have an original pressing of Blows Against The Empire. I know about Hot Tuna but I have never really listened to them.

I happened to land on Antiques Road Show the other night and some guy had a New Orleans Pop Festival poster on there. I guess it is sort of a forgotten festival. It was a couple of weeks after Woodstock.

I think Jerry is mentioned in the documentary a few times. He had some great songs - mostly the early stuff.

It was the sort of movie A&E use to run. I want to say I saw Human Highway on that channel also. But I am not sure about that.

I actually rather like that 1969 movie. Neil Young is in '68. I guess we also have to throw in Barbarosa (1982) since Willie was mentioned. I wonder if Neil is paying for the movie?

Anyone ever seen the film '68 (1988)?

Fascinating and sad at the same time - With what little I know about the blues guys - that seems to be a familiar story. I have the following on my Amazon list: Worried Blues - Skip James, Furry Lewis, and R.L. Burnside.

I always figured he would be the one to write a book. There are already some great stories to be heard by way of his old podcast.

Question about a live version of "Give Back the Key to My Heart"
Analogman replied to wilcoexaminer's topic in Just A Fan
Well, it must be a mystery then. -
I've been posting a lot as of late.

Ha ha I know where you saw that.

Along with Marcus King. It sounds like he is planning to do a "greatest hits" show. I have been talking about this off and on somewhere else and didn't think about posting it here.
-
Thanks for doing that work.

I was watching the Les Bros set from last month yesterday. Even though I have tried - I don't think I care for Marcus King all that much.

An Adventure in Time and Space (2013) I don't recall seeing this before.

And now again - it's on Amazon Prime now.
