We were way into that album back in 1983. Now - I think the only song I would listen to is Born Again.
-
What's also great is that BBC footage (1970/1971) you can watch on Youtube. I think the early stuff is the best in a lot of ways.

That's right. As they already had the sleeves printed up. (Was that the reason - I forget.)

Speaking of that - I should watch Torchwood again. -

I'm still working my way through all the seasons. I can't recall where I left off. I think I am somewhere in Season 24. -

I am old. I do. I was trying to recall when there was 3 before. -

I think it's more jarring that there are 3 companions to deal with. I have not seen the 3rd episode yet. I wish they had not changed the day the show is broadcast. -
It's very interesting. It even has some stuff about the album cover - if I recall.

It's back now. It did go away. I figured there was some bullshit going on. I look at that site many times a day. And one day it was gone - replaced with a message that said "goodbye". It never ceases to amaze that a place is created online that becomes something very important - and then gets zapped due to one person's decision.

The plot thickens. . .

That's after Bono fell and hurt his arm. I recall there is video of them taking him to the hospital.
-
I can't recall where I got that. Maybe The Pirate Bay. It had to have been a long time ago.
-
The album was in October - the film in November (I think).

There are a lot of Rattle and Hum out-takes. I think most of them are on YT now. Or they were. I had some U2 concerts saved in my YT and they have disappeared.
-
There is speculation they may do some sort of box-set anniversary release.

I saw it twice in the theater. And later on bought the VHS/cassette at a department store. I still have them. I still think it's one of the greatest concert films of all time.

New Jeff Tweedy album November 30th (called WARM)
Analogman replied to Oil Can Boyd's topic in Just A Fan
Don't mistake coincidence for fate. -
I recall seeing that film years ago. Of course - later on John said that song was about himself and not Paul.

I was wondering about that also. I recall Jeff or Spencer saying in an interview a few years ago that they had another TWEEDY album finished. Of course there is also that live Uncle Tupelo album that was talked about. -
Is it just coincidence that along with all the Paul stuff in the news the clip from the Imagine re-release happens to be How Do You Sleep?
-
I may check it out if it appears on my local library's e-book site.

Has anyone read that Barlow book?
