Looks like Jay is having a sale: Reverb.com

Not Gray folded - but rather Grey Market. . .

I am curious to hear the album Duane and Devon are making. Actually Berry Jr. is in the band also.
-
I just noticed Amazon Prime has added Anthem to Beauty (plus a bunch more of those Classic Albums documentaries).

I was surprised to find the book on my local library's e-book site yesterday. There are very few music related e-books on there. Even more surprising - there is a wait list. I will get to read it at some point this winter.

It's streaming at his site. Right now - you can do the subscription for 20 bucks a year.

You may want to check this book out: Salamander: The Story of the Mormon Forgery Murders

I have Seconds stuck in my head.

They do - as do the Moody Blues.

I once read that Judas Priest had another drummer hidden under that stage. I have heard of keyboards off to the side or under the stage - but never another drummer hidden away.

And so are KISS on their recent shows (Paul). It's a shame they just don't hang it up now. From the videos I've seen - it seems Gene is doing great with his solo band shows.

I don't really listen to such things these days - but Harvester of Sorrow is one of my favorite Metallica songs. I've read various things about the current DP tour. At least he is not singing along with tapes.

Ian started playing those drums during the Deep Purple long instrumental jams. I guess he wanted something to do. Interesting thing about him - he does not use vocal monitors.
-
Oh - I have those Dio albums. I still think the first one (Heaven and Hell) is the best though.
-
While we are at it - check out Mac Sabbath - if you have not already done so.

Ian was also sleeping in a tent in the yard. And kept his golf clubs in a tent next to it. I believe they also blew that up. That's probably the last Sabbath album I ever heard - besides Seventh Star and the Dio reunion albums. I've read about the following but never heard them:

The stories around the making of that album are pretty funny.
-
We were way into that album back in 1983. Now - I think the only song I would listen to is Born Again.
-
What's also great is that BBC footage (1970/1971) you can watch on Youtube. I think the early stuff is the best in a lot of ways.
-
That's right. As they already had the sleeves printed up. (Was that the reason - I forget.)

Official Doctor Who discussion threadAnalogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning Speaking of that - I should watch Torchwood again.

Official Doctor Who discussion threadAnalogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning I'm still working my way through all the seasons. I can't recall where I left off. I think I am somewhere in Season 24.
-
Official Doctor Who discussion threadAnalogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning I am old. I do. I was trying to recall when there was 3 before.
-
Official Doctor Who discussion threadAnalogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning I think it's more jarring that there are 3 companions to deal with. I have not seen the 3rd episode yet. I wish they had not changed the day the show is broadcast.
