I know. From what Eddie says in that clip, I wonder if some of that sort of thing went on for the director's cut that came out in 1994. That is what I have - on VHS. I also have the two official releases of Jimi's set on cd, and the 2 disc dvd. -

For me, it's about Santana. I knew there was more footage out there, somewhere. I guess they are doing a bit of after the fact fixing of tracks. I am not to happy about that, but that is how it goes. -

Planet Earth Rock And Roll Orchestra Tape Story

This makes me think of The Planet Earth Rock and Roll Orchestra sessions.

I think recall reading about about that in the Taper's book, but I don't recall it exactly perfect.

Prince is in there. Although I don't care for them, Sonic Youth should be in there someday I think.

It seems to be a bit confusing. Some of them are listed Blu-Spec Import re-masters, other are not. I doubt I will buy any of these, as I already own them all. I am curious to hear what they sound like, but there are no bonus tracks, or other goodies, so it is hard for me to justify buying them again.

I've never bought any of the Dylan re-masters. We talked about that Mellencamp deal in some thread around here. It's called CODE. I think I read somewhere that Neil Young was working on some new audio format also. I find that I am happy with re-masters done in HDCD.

That is a good question. He sure does like to start blogs and websites and then shut them down. -
I put Blue-spec cd in the search box at Amazon.com, and here is what came up in the search. It appears to mainly be a Japanese deal.

They just installed a big Springsteen exhibit.

I found the article above and this one by way of the Rush is a Band (blog).

I wondered about that too. If it is fake, then someone is imitating him pretty good I'd say. -
We all have bands we think should be in there. James Hetfield has been talking about all the bands that should be in there - bands that made it possible for Metallica to exist in the first place.

I read somewhere recently that she never felt that she was part of the alt.country deal. I find that interesting. I'd say my favorite is still Furnace Room Lullaby and Blacklisted. I have listened to those cds hundreds of times. 1997 The Virginian 2000 Furnace Room Lullaby 2001 Canadian Amp (EP) 2002 Blacklisted 2004 The Tigers Have Spoken (live) 2006 Fox Confessor Brings the Flood 2009 Middle Cyclone
