  1. I guess I just prefer the The Unforgettable Fire/Joshua Tree/Rattle and Hum period above all else. Anything else is sort of hard for me to get into. I'll have to check it out some more.
  2. My first thought is that the songs seem to start out nice, and then go off into something else. I was really actually getting into No Line On The Horizon, and then the music changed course about 3 times, or however many times it is. I have to say once again, Larry is a great drummer.
  3. That news has been around for a year or so - from what I have read it's not going to happen. I guess that has changed once again. This is the place to go: Black Sabbath News
  4. Any of you SF folks been by here recently: 2400 Fulton Street
  5. Me too - and that is really the album to get.
  6. Some of my favorite Jefferson Airplane songs: Blues From An Airplane D.C.B.A.-25 Things Are Better In The East
  7. Alice In Chains Blog (video of the band working on a new album): Like a horseshoe to your brain...
  8. I just happened to notice - there is a H.O.R.D.E. Festival poster at Wolfgang's vault right now for 28 bucks.
  9. They must have - it is still tagged as No Line On The Horizon.
  10. I liked the following pinball machines: Taxi, Space Station, and Secret Service.
  11. I use to have a job working on Pinball machines.
  12. It's probably streaming somewhere. If not, maybe it will be closer to the release date.
  13. It can be found by going to Google and putting the following in the search box: no line on the horizon torrent. One can also simply go to The Pirate Bay or Demonoid, which are two popular places to download illegal copies of new albums, and do a search there. By doing this, you will probably prevent U2 from buying another island.
  14. Tom Slick and The Thunderbolt Greaseslapper: Monster Rally
  15. That reminds me of the shit that went down that caused them to shut down the official message board. I was thinking - all this reunion talk is sort of disrespectful to Jay Bennett in some ways. If he is about having a career as a performer and producer, then one should not want him to go back to a band he was a part of in the past.
  16. The best I can offer you at the moment is a db.etree link (click on list collectors): Wilco 10/15/02 The 9:30 Club, Washington, DC
  17. Peter Blackstock has an article about the ArtsCenter (Carrboro, NC) Gary and Mark show up at No Depression.
  18. I suppose if you started out with the first one, and then bought them in the order they were released, you might have a reaction similar to the way some people look at Sky Blue Sky. Smile is really a Bob Ezrin record, and if you like his sound, I guess you can accept that record more easily. I am not a fan of his work.
  19. Not according to Dell: The upcoming Blu-ray Disc meets the storage and performance requirements of next-generation data and high-definition video applications, and is well-positioned to succeed CD and DVD technologies.
  20. I'd say I like Rainy Day Music better than the two that came before it. I still prefer Hollywood Town Hall and Tomorrow The Green Grass over all of them though. This is the place for Jayhawks news: The Jayhawks Fanpage
  21. I suppose it must really be out of their hands. It must have something to do with the record company. I wonder. It seems hard to believe that someone would pay money for a AUD shot homemade dvd these days.
  22. I was just happy to see a show on there that was not about biker gangs, space aliens, and the end of the world.
  23. Since I saw a show about this on The History Channel last night: Stealing Lincoln's Body by Thomas J. Craughwell.
