  1. It's funny - The Unforgettable Fire is my favorite U2 album, but I actually prefer U2 songs that feature guitar, and not keyboards or loops, or whatever. That is why I love Rattle and Hum. As I said, I like the acoustic guitar, and the vibe of the song. I have not yet bought the re-masters either - except for The Joshua Tree. The re-master boxset is 70 bucks at Amazon.com - I figure I will get it eventually.
  2. I like the acoustic guitar deal. Spotify
  3. We generally always have some sort of U2 thread going on - even one about the re-masters. There is some good discussion in that thread. I have not stopped buying their albums, as they are one of the few bands from the 1980s that I got into. And besides Michael Bolton, I am the only guy who likes the song:
  4. Me too - and I also wonder if he got some of them from the sites I posted a link to up above.
  5. Interviews and articles can still be found at the two sites below: Wilco (Gumbo Pages) Wilco (an unofficial site)
  6. The comic book that Hurley is reading. Y: The Last Man
  7. I don't really know much about this guy - except for some things I have read in magazines. Anyhow, I was looking for something on Hulu, and saw this: Storefront Hitchcock - Filmmaker Jonathan Demme profiles British singer/songwriter Robyn Hitchcock.
  8. So far, the two songs that I seemed to notice the most are Middle Cyclone, and Magpie To The Morning.
  9. Not yet. This is the section of the message board where you will find it announced if and when a source appears.
  10. That's Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, Chad Smith, and, Michael Anthony. Yes, I was making a joke.
  11. What is that noise in the background of Middle Cyclone? It almost sounds like a gas heater to me.
  12. I guess I was thinking I had not seen anything about it on Expecting Rain for a while. That is the only place I go for Dylan news. It would be interesting if he put out two albums this year.
  13. I wonder what happened to the unreleased songs of Hank Williams album that Bob was working on with various people?
  14. That reads to me like a blurb to help sell the book.
  15. Interesting. I am curious to see how far back he goes.
  16. Exactly. Some of those bands showed it more than others.
  17. If you click on his name, you'll see he has put together several books of interviews of various bands.
  18. That sure was a heck of an ending last night.
  19. William DuVall seems fine to me. It's not really something I would buy though. I just ran across the blog link, and posted it for the heck of it. I guess some would say they are not metal. But I have always thought that in some ways "grunge/the Seattle scene " was just a name for people to use who did not want to be associated with "hair metal."
  20. I get it for free - and I think it is terrible. Seems like they are trying to copy The Onion/various men's magazines/gossip magazines these days. Maybe they will get Dylan to do another interview this year.
