Oh, I know. It just does not make any sense to me though. All of these bands had these dudes when they became famous (for lack of a better term) - so I generally look at them as they are - all the dudes playing their part (no matter how small) to make the song.

I hate these threads.

I listen to BBC 2 - Suzi Quatro (Oldies), Brian Mathews (Sounds of The 60s), and Mark Lamarr (alternative 60s). Some things are blocked - such as the Bob Dylan show.

We need some of this today: -
Listen - there is already two or three threads for you and whoever to debate this stuff back and forth. I understand you have a right to post what you want, but, do we really need to discuss such things in the Wilco section of the board? I mean, really.
-
I never knew that - I don't care for that dude or the band he was in for that matter. I wonder why she picked Jim Kelter over Martin Chambers.
-
I wish it could be what you had in mind. We should have a thread called Wilco - Songs in Movies and Television Shows or something like that.
-
And he is Australian. . .

You already have a thread to put down Neil Young albums - right?
-
I've never really heard a Pretenders album past Learning to Crawl. 1980

They do some Dead song in the Freak 'n' Roll...Into the Fog: The Black Crowes All Join Hands, The Fillmore, San Francisco DVD - I forget which one though. Plus - they have played some Dead tunes over the years.

Odd - I bet we are among the few around here that do not own an iPod. I only listen to music when I am front of the computer really - at home it is cds, FLAC files, and Mp3 files - if that is the only way I can get something. At work, I listen to the BBC - they have great shows. For however many years, I have always bought new cds on the day (and sometimes before) of release. As many have said, those days are pretty much over. So, I have to now order stuff from amazon - which to me is a drag. I don't buy records anymore, as there no more flea markets or record stores around here. I still

Flashback? -
I don't recall such a thing in his book - but LB found something I see. I'd rather talk about how great The Stones are, instead of adhering to the subject of yet another negative thread. LOL
-
If you read and believe his book, he actually helped write several songs, and did not receive credit for them.

We had something like that happen here where I work once - it turned out to be some JC freak leaving packages in various mail rooms around campus. -
