  1. I'd like to know what McCain is talking about when he goes on about a victory in Iraq. Get Your War On
  2. I think she is the same position The Stones are, in that, she can just put an album/do a tour whenever she feels like it, instead of some album/tour/album/tour sort of deal.
  3. I respectively disagree - he could not play the beat they needed for their music. Maybe I am talking about something other than this thread is about.
  4. I have a heard time understanding him when he speaks, but I dig what he plays.
  5. I think this is like that other negative thread - I forget the name of it. Let's put it this way, Clem Burke did not make it very long in The Ramones, and I bet Marky or whoever, could not last five minutes in Blondie. Mike Love co-wrote a lot of early Beach Boys songs, and also served as the front man, and lead vocal on many Beach Boys songs. I suppose I just don't understand these sort of statements - that is, I don't think in the way the topic of title dictates.
  6. I seem to have a hard time finding Wise BBQ chips these days.
  7. Oh, I know. It just does not make any sense to me though. All of these bands had these dudes when they became famous (for lack of a better term) - so I generally look at them as they are - all the dudes playing their part (no matter how small) to make the song.
  8. I listen to BBC 2 - Suzi Quatro (Oldies), Brian Mathews (Sounds of The 60s), and Mark Lamarr (alternative 60s). Some things are blocked - such as the Bob Dylan show.
  9. No - Robert Downey Jr. and Winona Ryder are also in the film.
  10. Can you name the other Kiefer Sutherland movie that has to do with the 60s?
  11. Listen - there is already two or three threads for you and whoever to debate this stuff back and forth. I understand you have a right to post what you want, but, do we really need to discuss such things in the Wilco section of the board? I mean, really.
  12. I never knew that - I don't care for that dude or the band he was in for that matter. I wonder why she picked Jim Kelter over Martin Chambers.
  13. I wish it could be what you had in mind. We should have a thread called Wilco - Songs in Movies and Television Shows or something like that.
  14. You already have a thread to put down Neil Young albums - right?
  15. I've never really heard a Pretenders album past Learning to Crawl. 1980
  16. Looks like Rolling Stone is jumping in: A closer look at the life and career of John McCain reveals a disturbing record of recklessness and dishonesty
