I figured - as Bob did not start playing slide until after this time period - if I am thinking right. I don't know if I would call it "funky" - sounds sort of fumbling to me. I still have a hard time getting into this show.

I wasn't allowed to listen to that song when I was a kid - due to the Charles Manson connection. I actually don't much care for that song - maybe due to all the horrible cover versions.

The box will include remastered versions of all four of the classic Ronnie James Dio/Black Sabbath recordings: 1980's "Heaven & Hell," 1981's "Mob Rules," 1982's "Live Evil" and 1992's "Dehumanizer." Why in the heaven and hell did they not do this instead of releasing that single disc anthology? MONEY, of course.

I have some tapes from 1977 that I made by taping songs off the radio - mostly, Beatles songs. Does that count?

Oh I agree - but it is better than paying all that money for a cd. I would think one could find them in a record store somewhere.

Information on the above - sorry I missed posting it:

I am sure you can find the audio tracks if you look around out there.

A friend of mine saw Roger play in some little bar here where I live in the mid 1980s.

Right - you can't beat that or the sound of those Bo Diddley records. I think Chuck is 81 now.

I was reading somewhere the other day that Chuck Berry was making a new album.
