Post of the century. I don't bother with shows I have not actually been at - but that is a nice statement.

I don't believe in giving a piece of music numbers - I listen with the heart, not the head. I would prefer Bob Dylan write songs in the vein of Political World - not songs about floating down the river with riverboat dudes. I think Neil Young said something like this about him not to long ago. But - at the end of the day - he is going to make whatever music he wants to make. Some people will dig it, others will not.

I have never fooled with capturing streaming audio or video - mainly due to the sound quality issues - I may try it eventually to see how it works.

I somewhat agree with your view - but still - I think it valid to see what has come before.

People need to learn to use the search function - that way, the shared experience of the previous thread can be shared with one and all. I know this is a special place - but from whaty I have seen out there, on other boards, it is bad form to constantly start threads that one can find using the search function.
