No luck - I thought for sure I saw this on dime a dozen at some point - it's called Lucinda Williams - Unreleased Mix Car Wheels On Gravel Road Album 1st Version / Gurf Morlix Mix [1CD] SBD 65min ?

I'll do some digging. It was actually worked on by many different people - including Steve Earle and Roy Bittan. I believe she had a falling out with Gorf - he now plays in Ian McLagan's band.

I recall that also - I did not actually own a VCR until the early 90s.

I don't have them - but I could get them for you - if no one else has them handy.

I think there was a new version of Car Wheels that came out not long ago also.

I think the only copy I have is the one I taped off of A&E - before they became the crime and punishment channel - back in the mid 90s.

Just like all of her albums - I don't think I will buy it - I don't really listen to her very much anymore. I have all of them - except for the live album.

The cover of their first album is one of my earliest childhood memories.

All the Leaves Are Brown: The Golden Era Collection This is a good collection - it includes the first four albums plus some other songs.

I swear some of the vocals on this album sound like Bruce Johnston's songs/vocals on Sunflower.
