I read somewhere that they were possibly playing to pre-recorded tracks. That is - that they were lip-synching. 

It's funny - I really only care for the first two JP albums - Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny.

As imperfect or downright terrible some of the Hendrix films may be, I have learned Dolly Dagger on guitar as a direct result of watching them over the last couple of weeks, so that's a huge win.  I have found that learning any Hendrix song, even the kindergarten versions I can manage, gives me tons of source material to make up my own stuff.

I've always thought how lucky we are that his hands are actually shown in the Woodstock film. There is a lot of speculation that we will get the Albert Hall release at some point (besides that one night official release in 2019).

I was hoping the Maui film was going to have the complete concert, but that isn't the case, at least not on the Coda version.  As a drummer, it's interesting to listen to the re-recorded drums and watch how closely Mitch Mitchell was able to duplicate his live performance (the drum recordings from the original concert were not usable).  Sometimes he's really locked in, and other times it's nowhere close.  I'm glad I watched it just for that.  

I actually have the Blu-Ray. I did not have a Blu-Ray player. Someone gave me one. I guess there are parts they did not film or there are missing pieces of the show. One of my very favorite Hendrix live songs is the version of Hey Baby he plays on the Flying V. 

If you think that is corny - you should track down the actual Rainbow Bridge film and watch it. 

I think so. I actually bought the dvds many years ago. I watch it every once in a while.

I have a lot of those on tape. I used to tape a lot of music stuff back in those days. One of the great ones being the Guns 'N' Roses/Nirvana feud. 

I think there is a 2/18 source separate from that folder. I should stick that show in that folder at some point.

There in a folder marked as: Wilco 20080215_20.

I was thinking that was the other one. The three colors must have been white, beige, and blue-gray. 

I would guess we will see some sort of boxset coming out this year.

I was surprised that where I work does not make it mandatory. I guess it comes down to some sort of legal thing. But - they did say there would be penalties for those who did not wear a mask at work.

Not feeling very well as the day went on 

The governor in my state found out the other day that the girl's basketball team he coaches had turned down the vaccine. He was not too happy about that. As he spends time everyday trying to get people to not buy into rumors or other such nonsense.

Interesting how it varies - age/gender/physical condition do not seem to matter

I am planning on taking Tuesday off. 

I get the 2nd one Monday. I've read a lot of people don't feel so good after that.
