I think I recall reading about his interests in trains years ago. I can't recall if he talks about it in his book. 

I think he also looked after Jimmy Page for a time. I am guessing that is how Jimmy ended up playing with the Crowes. 

The Black Crowes reunite on The Howard Stern Show.  

I have always liked several of the songs from the first album. But like the first Pearl Jam album - the production is too slick. I am curious to hear what they are doing with these songs now though. I would think Chris will get tired of playing the same songs the same way every night.

He told some on his radio show several years ago. They shared a manager - Pete Angelus.

I about 3/4 through Gorman's book  -- it is wonder that these two are back together, of course it is about money - but so it goes. I can see why Gorman is not involved, it seems like he has been quitting the band since the mid 90's.

 

The book is entertaining enough -- basically on one page Gorman calls Chris and asshole, then calls Rich one on the next page, then back to Chris, back to Rich and on and on and on. 

I have not read it yet. I am hoping it shows up in e-book form on my local library's website. It used to be such things would not happen. But they recently got the new SRV book which was rather good. 

It's about the money I would say. 

I was watching that Beat Club NRPS show the other day. 

I can't picture Garcia ever riding the below - but who knows.

I wonder how that came to be auctioned? That is my favorite GD time period and Jerry's guitar tone. 

Apparently - he and Rich had a falling out over some sort of business a while back. 

I plan to read it. But I don't really want to buy it. I am hoping it pops up at my local library.  He is also going to have some sort of rock music show on Westwood One now. 

I have been reading that it will be Chris/Rich and a bunch of hired players. 

There was someone doing a Wilco live show streaming site. But I think it is gone. I never really messed with it.

Cozy Powell was on that show also. 

I guess that was just part of life in a northern town.

Many years ago - 

We were going to put such a thing together by way of lifting Jeff banter out of AUD files. But we never did it. I would think these days such things would be found on YT. Or put up on YT if such a thing was created. I believe there are several Paul Stanley videos of such things. And I am also thinking of a Led Zeppelin live show site that cataloged what Robert Plant said at shows. I believe they were called "Plantisms". Finally - I also seem to recall Crowesbase tracks such things. Or used to - when the Black Crowes were active. Of course - the word is they will be touring again next year.

I wonder who lives in George's old house now? It's amazing to think people used to just walk up to the house and talk to George. I've seen photographs of such meet-ups. 

Is this the first Wilco album not to stream on NPR (since whenever that started)?

That sounds about right. I don't think they ever got into the sort of troubles he did.
