  1.

Yes, just moved there last month. He and his girlfriend are 25. We were out to visit mid-October. Had only been to CO to ski, so loved being there in nice weather. We didn't want to leave. My goal is to now finally get to a show at Red Rocks. Starting today we are all celebrating wife's birthday in Austin. Landed this morning, never been.

    Ha my Wife and I went last November couple of tips;

Get out of Austin by :20 mins and hit Gruen Hall! Live music nightly. http://gruenehall.com

Hank Williams, Johnny Cash Patsy Cline Zac Brown have all played in the place it breathes real country. Stop in for a beer it's open the day. Also the the general store across the street. For barbecue hit Salt Lick.

  2. About 10 minutes after I posted this I found out they released more tix to the sold out CO shows, told my wife, and she purchased tix for the first night.... heh.

Congrats on that I did same caught a drop here.

One point is get there early as they go one at ticketed time.

So glad I gtg hope they keep it going after this run.

    Enjoy your show !

  3. Caught Dead & Company last night.

I like this bunch better than Further ( saw 4 o those.

Mayer is like a kid in a candy store playing on a stage clearly with some of his heroes. He is not looking for a spotlight and plays and sings very well.

Otel is a Wondeful addition laying down the rhythm and being the glue that keeps the jams from falling apart, always liked him in ABB.

Overall Bobbys vocals were in decent shape, Desr Prudence was missing a couple of lines but hey it's the first time I have ever heard them covering it, and it was a crowd pleaser. Totally would go back for more.

I caught the after show set from Playing Dead they all went to the show and covered some of the songs, always a fun time seeing those guys.

    Set list from last night

That being said, I am super psyched for tonight's show!

Heads Up to those tracking to Worcester locals know this band well. Playing Dead is doing a set 5 - 6:30 and a post show set at Electric Haze 5 min walk from venue.

WRP see you out there ..

  5. I'm looking forward to hitting the Worcester show tomorrow night as I scored after the load in today.

Tickets are getting pretty scarce for this show.according to box office it's a firm 7 pm start and they play till 11 . Is that real I know there's an intermission but 7 seems early /

  6. Maine or NH? Because they were in front of me at the Capitol Theatre show on the WTA tour.

Yes NH guess I'm looking forward to upcoming Wilco show in Maine

Re Grace Potter last night she did not disappoint. Incredible covers some should pop up on YouTube.

  8. Although many here may not know her work in films she was the finest female actor to have come from the Emerald Isle ; Quite a Gem.

She os one of my all time favorite actors. The Quiet Man is such a great film, and portrayed her best qualities.

According to a family spokesman she passed away today surrounded by loved ones whilst listening to the soundtrack from that movie.

She was fiercely independent independent and that transcended on the screen.

We will not see the likes of her again.

  9. For Boston ..Got Row D Left Center Aisles & actually two singles in lower

I still think Wilco tkt Mngr is asleep at the switch allowing up to 8 Tkts max. I have seen Bruce & Neil at the Orpheum both imposed 2 ticket limits and CC entry.

I know Wilco had CC entry for Wang for greet seats.

On a positive note the secondary market will be unloading lots of day of Tkts for a lot less than now. IMO

  10. Boston Night 2 Yes!! It will be a good weekend.

Im grateful to get a pair of low row upper Orch on the aisle near center.

Also purchased a single lower Orch to trade for another venue.

    Both transactions over the phone.

  11. I've seen God ole Neil since early. 90s most recently last Summer's tour He is definitely not washed up or mailing it in.

Regarding the money as hell if you look hard enough you can get in for 75 bucks and score a decent seat.

Concert prices of some newer bands are going nuts Muse just announced a '16 date at Boston Garden and the floor was 210.00 including fees per tkt No Thanks

  12. I've got an idea for an excellent tour next summmer. It would be an all day/night affair with everyone doing nice, long sets. Working title "Excellent Songs With Guitar". Here's my proposed lineup.:

    1. Neil Young with Promise Of The Real

    2. Wilco

    3. Drive-By Truckers

    4. My Morning Jacket

    What do you think? :)

Love it can you get Appel to talk yo an upstate farmer in NY?

    Seriously Nice idea!

Really would be something to see all of them, hell you could add Willie too!
