I ended up with 1 extra for Tuesday, 2/2 @ the Capital Theater. GA floor. I was buying for a friend who I later found out wants an actual seat. So if anyone wants a single GA for Tuesday let me know. I'll be at the show or we could handle the tradeoff some other way.

I went on tktbastard re Boston but indicated Livenation Pre sale is tomorrow

And I did it from my computer and got Right Orch Row B seats 119 and 121. No way to figure how to get the best seats.

All quiet for an alleged second Orpheum date Presale this week

What time did you arrive / do you think most of the 10 got Tickets? I can't see The Orpheum box office moving at lightning speed due to their setup. I went to MMJ. Onsale and wound up in lower Balc 5 mins after on sale began.

Great for those reasonably close. I max out my 2hr rule.

Not driving longer than the band is onstage for.

Got down there for last years show at The CAP as I was lucky to have work nearby that day.

They announced both dates at same time as they are guaranteed sellouts.

An Evening with Joe Walsh last night at The Orpheum

My first Evening With at The Orpheum since Wilco.

Never seen Joe Walsh Solo Great Show ! He takes you through a Jourey of his career for the evening. However it's the manner he does this with using humor, (politics nothing too deep) and of course his illustrious guitar playing.

Favorite moment is when he gave one guitar it's last strum on a song, got his wanted feedback kept it alive whilst getting guitar switched from his techie, 5 seconds later and seamlessly another great song started.

Glad I went !

When I told my wife a second Orpheum show was added, her response was "I guess if they're playing Friday and Saturday we're going to both?" Recipe for a great marriage!

Would you go back to The Orpheum box office?

To me the real problem of lots Onsale availibility stems from an 8 ticket limit / Wilco should make that 2 in lower orch and cc entry with a max of four .

I think that would greatly reduce the Stubhub quantity.(currently 25% of The Orpheum show Tickets are on Stub hub)

It was a mess no mobile sales was a challenge

I went directly to phones and got a balcony pair at 10:01 as Best Available.

In my opinion the main problem for the quick inventory depletion is directly related to the Large ticket limit 8 Seats.

For Orpheum Theatre there is only 2,700 seats that is bad decision making by Wilco Mngmt.

That is why 25% of the ticket inventory for this show is on Stubhub.

Back from the Orpheum box office. That was an experience. Got there about 8:45, I was second in line. When the box opened, I asked for best 2 available, got right orch Row E seats 2 and 4. On the aisle to the center, but still farther right than I wanted. I then asked for the next best 2 available for my friend, pulled obstructed view, let those go. When it was time for my friend who was 6th in line he gets 5th row right center (Row KK, triple digit seats). I am so fucking pissed at that point, I'm standing at the box office on my ipad trying to get better tickets, I then get back in line and end up getting a couple more pairs in center orch and a pair in center balcony but further back. I'm not going to whine after reading here how folks got shut out. But that's my report.

Sorry you did not get lower Orch, at least it was your friend that got the double letters.

For Boston Got a 2cd row center balcony pair and 2 decent singles 1 in lower orch.

I love Wilco but, not for 150 top tier just yet..

In another 5 yrs I will have no choice as they are that good, and I bet the rent on these medium size venues never goes down. Of course if I'm investing in a 4 hr total drive time seeing them well perhaps,that's what I'm paying presently,in reality.

 

Back on topic I just decided to buy 4 GAs ( easily ) at the noontime sale for. CT it's a 2 hour drive

Caught this show and Warren as well enjoyed both.

Lucero was firing on all cylinders in the 2cd set.

Do we have to do anything to be registered for the pre-sale other than give Wilco our email address?  Do we need to setup a separate account and login with CrowdSurge? I think I already did that because I remember getting a free Roadcase show, but don't remember how I did that.

I'm looking around for the presage code for The Orpheum and State as well.

Perhaps the appear on Wilco World at 10 am?

Saw only night 3 at a Patio Party, late night but worth the sleep deprivation. it was a bit uneven but overall they pulled off a decent trifecta.
