  1. yeah I was kind of wondering that myself. I know my friends and I situation is already crazy. We have like 4 sets of tickets and some people who bought the tickets are not even sitting in their own seats...so we have to form groups and go in and then switch tickets.

I imagine there is going to be a big line....I hope they have more than one window working.

Hi Folks Just called Citi Wang Group Sales got a Nice Lady who Said " For 8 Pm Show we would Open up @ 7:15

We will Most Likely Open Up 1 Hour Prior to that to encourage people to go in, and once in No Smoke Breaks they will go 3 hours 8-11"

BTW SHe believes Jacob Wirth will Take a Reservation for 10 or more She Encourages IT

Im in the City tonight/tommorow Night lmk if you want me to put it under your name as you have the biggest party (AlmostArt) umm may need another name., B)

  2.

    It's still raw.

And Springsteen was the only musical artist who had the courage to tackle 9/11 in a completely unapologetic, non-ironic manner.

Totally Agree saw the Beginning Of that tour a lot of Open Weeping in Boston during the Touchstone songs Empty Sky and INTO the FIRE

man those were tough Heartfelt Relevant moments...

This why an artist being true has such an awesome responsibility to be a True Chronicler of History. imo

  3. I'll be there with 2 friends.

Although, to be honest I'm a bit confused by the topic.

Hello /The Topic Boston was Not Officially SOLD OUT until this weekend thus Joining the Ranks of NYC, Nashville,St Louis & Madison, WI

But I thought it w/b too long a title.. So I condensed it and combined it w/a Roll Call.....Cool?

Now we just need to find a Place to say hello besides our seats... If anyone wants to..

Almostart136 has an idea of Jacob Wirth Im good w/that m/b they could let us have a small area Pre Show?Closed after

Just a reminder Citi Wang has no food to speak of And 3 bucks more for Beverages

  5. We had a swarm of honey bees attach themselves to our patio chair yesterday. I called the people we get our honey from at the farmer's market and they came and trapped the bees.

That was a cool Video I got Stung by Stepping on a Bee Barefooted...

By Watching your Video up came another that show how a Bee Can Survive Stinging a Person

  6. Beautiful sounds aside, the line "one Sunday morning, one son is gone" makes me weep. My father died a year ago, Sunday, September 12th. This weekend marks one year gone since the worst day of my life, but now I have yet another song that brings me great comfor

    Choo Choo Charlie...

I am sorry for your loss My Dad Died Suddenly (Heart Attack) 3 yrs ago.

For me its Cash (one of his Faves) that will cause me to Well Up>

Have yet to dig deeply into to the song but like many others on this thread I Love it and do not want it to end.

  7.

Who were you going to see at Toad? I go see music there all the time.

Just to throw in my cents I wouldn't recommend The Intermission for a meetup. I've been there a bunch of times and it is not really a great atmosphere for a meetup..just my opinion.

I'm going with about 10 people and we are going Jacob Wirths. Great beer selection, great food and abotu 5 minutes away. Here is the link http://www.jacobwirth.com/

At Toad Usually Tim Gearan Band A talented writer/singer/player Plays out at Atwoods also(Wolf brought Springsteen over there just last week)

    Back on point..

    Here's my Problem w/ Jacob Wirth's

    37 Stuart St

    Boston, MA 02116

    (617) 338-8586

    Open Mon,Sun 11:30am-9pm; Tue-Thu 11:30am-10pm

Pre is OK but for out of Towners or people wanting a Place to Hang/Chill After No Go Wirths is Closed

I know Intermission is kind of Getting a Emerson College Hang; Both Faculty / Some Students but that's alright w/me

m/b we could do a Pre over Wirths Post @ Intermission as they are 100 steps from eachother

I read somewher Wirths Wood Bar* is the Oldest in Boston (actual the Wooden Bar itself)

  8. 9/6 UPDATE

recent issues of bar fights on occasion force me to no Longer reccd the prior place

I am going to scope out this new spot to provide some if not all of above...

Meanwhile I seem to have won a Meet & Greet w/ Wilco through our Last of the Independent Radio Stations 92.5 WXRV

unsure if its prior to show or after will post

The Place is called Intermission Tavern

    http://intermissiontavern.com/directions.html

Back to Meet UP the place below is Open till 2 and food till 1 and once again steps away from Citi Wang

  9. I must admit I'm not (yet?) fully convinced by the other two slow, accoustic numbers on the record (Black Moon and Rising Red Lung) but this one has it all- story line, melody, hooky riff, sonic detail, and after 12 minutes you're perfectly happy going back and playing it again. This may be one of the strongest things Wilco has ever done.

Certainly to me it is in the Top 10

but lust us remember it is the Honeymoon period... It will be interesting if our comments hold up in 3 yrs but hell

Im really Loving the depth and smooth sound of it, along w/those well crafted lyrics!

  10. Apparently they're gone now, but there were a few really really good front balcony seats available mid day on friday. Also, by the box office I mean go to the actual theater. They have some that aren't sold online. Boxes at the back of the orchestra

I like those boxes good sightline and More Leg room than Orch. Seats ...
