    I'm happy to see Jeff/Wilco coming back to Wisconsin for the fourth time in 2011!

    I can recall when they were doing the same to propagate the masses in New England!(prior to S.Sound)

    On the Official Tour in all of NE weve got 1 Date slated

    So land of Wisconsin Enjoy it Repeatedly :banana

    Interesting Conversation Topic ; Microscopically Reviewing an Album that is still quite young...

    Specifically only 2 yrs You are welcome to comment review ect such a fresh rendering ,

    In my opinion it is unfair to stack WTA against anything that has had the time to ferment in your mind like YHF or even Kicking Television..

    I like the ALbum but,

    What do you say lets do this again in 3 more years perhaps you might even lighten up or not...

    Back on point I have welcomed and enjoyed each recent offering of the last 2 and the tours as well.

     

    I am glad they are clamping down on leaking it and just teasing it hopefully they will slate some tv time in Sept prior to the drop..

     

    In terms of Larger fan base... They Could have Sold Out a 8,000 Seat Pavilion in Boston Nearly did it on Blue Sky Tour

    instead the Band Opted to Play Wang 3,500 (btw only 2-3 rows left in Nosebleeds)

     

    More Power to them for structuring their Growth while being True to their Heritage and Fan Base

    I will fess up I actually bought a ticket to see Billy Bragg 3 yrs ago and... attended

    Lasted just about the whole show thoughts ...

    Singing Guitar Playing : Average

    Talking w/ Audience : Too Much for me

     

    It did however cure my curiosity about wondering how his stage performance would be.

    I've seen Wilco about 5 or 6 times now, with another show coming up next month - however, I think this 39-song marathon takes the cake as the best of the lot:

    u2roolz ; has anyone ever tried to buy a scalped ticket and show up with the cops by their side?

     

    I was standing outside Fenway (Red Sox 04 playoff run)

    A scalper said how many you need I said what are you asking for 2 Blchrs 125 ea!

     

    A small crowd of people were listening in perhaps to get an idea of the asking price when suddenly one came forward pulling out a Badge

    Identifying himself as Boston Police and says to the scalper "Ypu will be selling them to him for Face Value or you are coming along w/m

    25.00 Each! Of course I thank the Officer

    However these days the Sox are Partnered up w/ Ace Tkt Resellers, sad.

    But I still have my ways of paying face or Don't go!

    7/19 Update

    Hi Folks I started this thread to get out the word of pre sale code for the Boston Venue

    It appears as there is a Movement afoot for some VCR's attending Boston 9/20 to M/U Sounds Good.

    I have mentioned a Spot that my Friends /Family having gone to go To 3 min walk to Citi Wang

    What I'm Working on w/Mgmt. is :

    For no addtl Charge as long as we Get (50 Confirmed People Pre Show) WE Will Have: Tunes(WILCO),Waitstaff for food

    Note not everyone has to Order food ; Our Own Bartender.. and Choices of Cold Beer/Drinks at Reasonable Prices

    (Citi Wang w/b more expensive)

    However...

    The top guy in Mgmt is on Vacation so I will update next week what the Head ct. needs to be and if interest continues I will construct a Pre Party List. Sound Good?

    9/6 UPDATE

    recent issues of bar fights on occasion force me to no Longer reccd the prior place

    I am going to scope out this new spot to provide some if not all of above...

    Meanwhile I seem to have won a Meet & Greet w/ Wilco through our Last of the Independent Radio Stations 92.5 WXRV

    unsure if its prior to show or after will post

    I know, B - I was worried about that too, especially since the Boston language was different than the other venues. I called Frontgate immediately after, explained the whole thing and they said I was fine as long as my orders totalled 4 tix. That gives me at least some peace of mind. I wanted to clear it up right away before the public on-sale just in case.

    watched it refresh til approx 10:20 Screen chngs to indicate Boston Pre sale SOLD Out

    for me its better luck next time..

    But,
