This article (and book I imagine) seems to put it all together in a giant shit sandwich.

I found A Gentleman in Moscow a bit slow moving in the first half, but the writing is so good it never seemed to flag. I read the last 100+ pages in one night, which is usually a sign that I am in deep. Definitely worth a read.

I liked it, but did not love it. My daughter, age 15, loved it - her favorite of the series.

Even though you caught it from me?
Of course! I still think we're serious.

All I want for Christmas is for you to kiss my purple black eye.

The Smithereens helped keep guitar pop/rock going in the 80s when at times it seemed like big hair and power ballads were going to rule the world forever. RIP Pat.

I am liking it much more than I expected. Love Out of Sight, Out of Mind, Losing Interest, Why Would You Wanna Live, and I Can't Keep From Talking.

The only time recently that I recall them playing four from AM was Night 2 of Solid Sound earlier this year, and that was because they did not play anything off of YHF and Being There that night.
I love Too Far Apart. That is a rock song.

That is pretty darn cool:
When several (20+) of us fans were having post-show drinks and some food across the street, most of the band members and crew were seen walking individually back to their hotel past the long row of windows in the bar we were at. We all stood and cheered for each and every one, and they each stopped to give us a nod or a bow and a really big smile and a wave before they went along. It was just that kind of evening all around.

I stand corrected. St. Paul Night 3 > St. Paul Night 2 > St. Paul Night 1 as far as set lists go. Of course, I say this as I sit 1500 miles away and did not see the shows that I am ranking in terms of set lists. But Less Thank You Think, Too Far Apart, Pot Kettle Black, and The Lonely One trumps Hotel Arizona from Night 2.

Just my opinion, but as far as set lists go, St. Paul Night 2 > St. Paul Night 1. Hotel AZ was the difference maker.
Lucky folks in Minnesota!

Yeah, CNN got pretty psyched about getting the scoop on that one. It is either something huge, something tiny, or something in between which is importantly leading to something huge.
I'll be surprised if it is not Manafort or Flynn, or both of them.

'Scream for me Long Beach'
Love that!

Today my mom and I agreed to call in hospice care for my dad. My parents are the two greatest blessings of my life. My heart is breaking.
That is really hard. So sorry. Take care of yourself and your mom.

I don't know why, but there is something oddly comforting in knowing how incompetent this administration is.
