Off to the computer lab in the music building to do some work...expect frequent RTT activity

One time I was going to the microwave to defrost some pork or something like that and I noticed a cockroach scurrying around underneath the glass tray...so naturally I decided to fry it, not only did it die, but it must have had a significant amount of metal somewhere in its system because it burnt spectacularly in a sort of whitish/yellow burst. It was an extremely satisfactory experience, even though I'm generally not a proponent of killing things. These bugs are definitely an exception.

I'm going to be eating some oreos and drinking some milk like this.

Just so long as I'm not some lame sidekick I'm cool with that. Because there are a lot of lame sidekicks who basically just wear tights and don't get to do anything. Also: I just got done with work early tonight Still have lots of composition to write, but I'm pretty excited right now and the mint chocolate chip ice cream I had was definitely up to snuff.

That's an awsome store name. The Fetus is definitely a broad selection, and just generally a fun store...though not gigantic in size. Iowa City has two decent indie stores but I end up buying albums online a lot just because Grinnell doesn't have anything close to a record store...oh well.

Meh, I think the whole corporate ineptitude in the music industry is just as relevant these days (take for instance the Sony digital rights management fiasco...) it's suprising to me, but probably shouldn't be, that these companies will continue their chances to score solid and long-term profitable artists. Oh well. Wilco is on Nonesuch, and Nonesuch releases good music. After seeing the movie I definitely did hang out with most of Wilco and it got me really excited about them again.

Moogfooger analog delay. So nice...mmm. If I had that kind of money laying around I would by one in an instant.
