It was so cool of Susie to post one of the sets on her IG page. Lucky Chicagoans!

Yikes! Part of the Sanibel Island causeway collapsed in the storm. Glad you made it out safely, Vince!

Despite all the controversy with the Springsteen tickets I managed to score decent seats on the verified fan sale in about 10 minutes yesterday. I got ADA seats 4 rows back behind the stage. Those seats are actually pretty good for Bruce as he spends a lot of time playing to the people behind the stage. I got out of it for $260 (service charge included) for the pair. It was just within the budget I set for myself so I'm happy. It was better than I thought I'd do.
Nice! I had seats a few rows back right behind Max at the Verizon Center in DC several years ago. Not only did Bruce play to our section, but we had an amazing view of everything going on - guitar changes, Bruce soaking himself between songs, etc. It was a great vantage point, maybe better than being right up front.

Not sure if we need a new thread for reviews, but here goes... I think this one is on the mark for the most part.

So who thinks this will actually be a largely country record? In some ways this single is a more faithful channeling of the Bakersfield sound than anything from the "alt country" days of AM.
I vaguely remember Jeff saying they had put together a "F'd up county record" or something like that. Seems like a long time ago. Anyone else remember that?

Cruel Country? Double Album? So excited for some new Wilco and very excited to be attending Solid Sound this year with some new material coming out. Maybe they play the whole thing on Friday?
DJ said release date is May 27. Lines up perfectly for Friday night

Oh, thank you, Charles! Your photos are excellent. I was up in the rafters (had an 11-year old in tow), so I didn't get a close look, but I remember thinking it was the best band I had ever heard. Thanks for the memories!

That was my first Wilco show! I have looked high and low for that poster and have found nothing. I don't think it exists. If you do find one, @Sean Runyon please let me know. Good luck!

I don't have a reservation for SBS, but I signed the petition. Tough decisions for all involved.

Twenty twenty-two,
Will you be a bummer like
Twenty twenty, too?
*Sigh* This is not shaping up to be a festive thread.

Your acorn squash would work well with this. It looks like a bit of a mess, but it is fantastic! You could add crumbled sausage, too.

Saw MS+HFS at the Birchmere in Alexandria in Feb. 2020. They lived up to their name! Marty came out afterward and signed autographs and shook hands with a long line of fans, which seems wild to me now, considering it was right at the start of the pandemic. That was one of the last Birchmere shows for a long time...
Have a great time, Jon!
