    When will Wilco US tour dates be announced?

    If it's a joint Wilco/Beck tour that gets announced soon, I will look like a genius!

     

    I don't know this Albany station, but it's possible if Wilco is playing Albany that the radio station could be involved in promoting it, which would give them inside knowledge. Otherwise I question how much early access to singles a radiostation that isn't KEXP/KCRW/Siriux XMU, would get for Wilco in this day and age. Lots of bands are announcing fall tours this week and dropping singles. Sufjan Stevens and Sleater-Kinney both released singles this morning. So I still feel strong about something happening soon, even if Tuesday came and went with nothing! 

    FWIW, Albany is pretty darn close to North Adams.  Could have some tie-in to Solid Sound?

    Scott McCaughey will be performing a handful of living room shows on his return trip from Solid Sound to Portland OR.  $20 tickets are on sale thru Undertow Records.

     

    Harrisburg  PA       July 2

    Cleveland   OH      July 5

    Chicago      IL        July 10

    Omaha       NE      July 11

     

     

    Also, Califone  currently has some East Coast LRS scheduled. Including Baltimore, D.C., Boston and North Adams!

    Wow that sounds like fun!  I passed the info about the Scott McCaughey living room show tour on to a friend who already hosts 10-15 shows a year at her house.  Maybe they can work out something!  Thanks for the tip.

    I just got an email from Ticketmaster saying my tickets were canceled at the request of the Bijou Theater.  There was a name and number to call at the Bijou Theater for more info and I've called and left a voicemail but I'm assuming I'm screwed as this point.

    Same here. Waiting for a call back from manager.  I'll let you know if I hear anything.

    That was a bust and I cried in the store. Really glad I got up at 5am to be elbowed by a grown man. Great time. I’m so sad.

    Yikes. I was afraid of that. I might have to wait and plan ahead for 2021. Thanks for the advice.

    If you don't mind driving a bit, there are still a few decent looking Airbnb's available near Bennington and lots of hotels down toward Lenox and Pittsfield.  Honestly, there is virtually no traffic and the scenery is lovely - 25 miles is easy.
