  1. Not a fan of Girlpool… could've been worse though.
  2. Yeah, Jeff actually made that comment about people talking right after Magnetized. He said something to the effect of "All the people talking made that song feel lonesome." Love the poster design from the show!

  8. I got to see all 4 of the 'Swamp Is On' Shows and it truly was one of the best things I've seen in a very long time. After seeing Dr. Dog countless times, they have yet to disappoint, same goes for all their studio releases. I've been waiting and looking forward to this release for at least the last 8 years. I can't wait!
  9. In the waning days of our previous millennium, an envelope arrived at the Dr. Dog Bungalow. Initially misplaced among credit card solicitations and clothing catalogs, it had no postage and smelled of a fusty funk, as if it had once been wet. The return address said simply “Phrases from the Psychedelic Swap.” Inside was a cassette tape. “Play me,” it said, and “Play Me,” didn’t mean simply “Listen to Me,” but literally “Play Me!” It was a call to action, urging Dr. Dog to record a great pop album. 10. Releases on Feb 5th, 2016 The Psychedelic Swamp is Dr. Dog's ninth album, and fourth studio release with ANTI- Records. The Psychedelic Swamp could very well have been Dr. Dog's first album. It could have been their o
  11. Scott McMicken - In Your Dreams! One my favorite releases of the year!
  12. Looking forward to this one.
  13. Jeff Tweedy Writing “Funny, Disarming” MemoirChris DeVille @chrisdevillJeff Tweedy is one of the most winsome personalities in music today, and his decades as a professional musician have generated enough drama to fill several books — intra-band power struggles in both Wilco and Uncle Tupelo, substance abuse spurred on by debilitating migraines, his wife’s successful battle against cancer, the fight to get Yankee Hotel Foxtrot released, the list goes on — so I’m excited to learn that Tweedy is writing a memoir for the Penguin Random House imprint Dutton. According to information Dutton shared
  14. I just watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame on TCM last night and was thinking about her. I grew up watching films like Miracle on 34th Street and The Parent Trap and in later years, Hunchback, The Quiet Man and This Land is Mine. She really was one of the last greats of the golden age! I always thought her acting style was way ahead of its time…she was quite the lady.
  15. Rain Dogs was released 30 years ago today.
  16. Dr. Dog's Swamp Is On Live from Union Transfer.
  17. I work in Film Production (mostly in the Art Department) for Films, TV and Music Videos.
