When those 3 episodes came out all in the row, I couldn't believe it. By far some of my favorites of the new series.

tennant's performance in the first two of those were incredible...i got misty eyed. 'blink' was just a great story/concept.

while you're there, there is a track up of me just eating celery. i figure if everybody on here goes and listens, i should be able to buy my kids a real-live robot for their birthday. help a brother out!

as i'm finally just about caught up on Doctor Who, wondering if i should check out torchwood. they actually have both seasons at my library...i was going to grab it last night, but someone nabbed it before i got there.

watching the first three seasons of who on DVD provided several moments of absolutely giddy geektitude for me. 'school reunion'...the doctor and sarah in that coffee shop while joy division plays in the background. i smiled for hours. 'human nature/family of blood' and 'blink' were fucking genius. the master returns?! just wow.

I think "The Next Doctor" is my favorite Christmas special so far. An interesting mystery to start off, and it was nice to see the Doctor without a companion playing a different sort of role in the story.

Agreed. It was freaking wonderful...way too much fun.

i read something over the weekend that patrick troughton (Doctor #2) advised peter davison (Doctor #5) to stay in the role no longer than 3 seasons due to typecasting.

Really? I thought BBC Amercia was just airing all the existing x-mas specials...X-mas Invasion, Runaway Bride and Voyage of the Damned.

Re-watching a few episodes from Season 1, completed Season 2 last night and will be taking care of Season 3 by the new year...i'll continue watching season 4 on BBC America for fun. Good god, I have fallen for this show hard.
