That sounds really good Matt - glad its going well. I used to do the odd night when I was living in Stafford and always really enjoyed it. Dont really do anything anymore, though I do frequent a pretty decent forthightly indie night in Ipswich which leans more towards what your playing rather than, as you say, Hard-Fi and Kaiser Chiefs. Good luck with it!

Id like to get all of Wilco on vinyl at some point. I only have YHF at the moment. I hear Summerteeth is pretty hard to come by?

Some other favourites of mine are: First pressings of Blonde On Blonde & Nashville Skyline. An original pressing of Small Faces - Ogdens Nut Gone Flake in the tobacco tin sleeve. The Band - The Band on 180gram vinyl. A reissue from a few years back but the sound quality is incredible.

If you're burning DVD video files there is no better program for ease of use than Clone DVD 2 Use this with DVD Dycryptor (a free download) - to rip the DVD. I reckon you can get Clone DVD off of any torrent site.

My pride and joy from my vinyl collection is an original pressing of First Step labeled as Small Faces that I got signed by Ian MacLagan a few years back.

They would certainly be the ones I'd recommend too. The Faces boxset is amazing but quite over powering for a new fan I think. Good Boys When They're Asleep on the other hand is a great career overview that takes the best songs from each album. While your at it though - get some Small Faces too. IMO a much superior band. If you wanted Faces studio albums id say A Nod Is As Good As A Wink, Ooh La La and First Step are the essentials. Long Player is a bit shit.

My Brightest Diamond - Bring Me Te Work Horse. Very good - quite PJ Harvey esque in places. Well worth a listen.

Me too!

I think the only version of this is from the DVD audio rip of IATTBH thats knocking about. The version on More Like The Moon is quite a bit slower - but certainly rockier than the album version. Im still yet to hear the Engineer demos actually - might grab them later.

Last FM Neighbour radio. Throwing up some pretty good stuff.

I havent heard it yet, but was put off as soon as I heard the word "Megamix". Instantly I thought of the Grease megamix, or worse, Jive Bunny.
