  1. I left them at the cheese steak place around 1:45. Guess I missed you by 15 minutes! I don't know if it's important to have "a fit." It's an easy way to hear music that you otherwise may have passed up. I've seen some killer openers myself, when I can get myself to a show early enough.
  2. I thought people were rowdy at both shows. In St. Augustine crowd didn't really understand that he was asking them to quietly fade out and end the song that way. I loved the acoustic version as well but I'm a sucker for that song.
  3. Yeah, they opened. Saw Orlando and St. Aug., I've never heard them before. Checked them out briefly online a couple of weeks ago and I had low expectations. I loved them live. They were way to loud in Orlando so it was hard to hear her beautiful voice. Better in St. Aug., They were really nice people. Hung out after the show in St. Aug. I certainly looked like Pat was a fan in St. Augustine, he was side stage for the whole set & he looked like he was enjoying it. Backstage they had great rapport with everyone.
  4. They looked bored but the crowd goes for it. I promise you'll keep hearing it.
  5. Oh yeah. Forgot about it at Solid Sound 2010, saw that one too.
  6. Deep and Sludgy (perfect description). It sounded better the second time around, I liked it too but it made me miss Kamera.
  7. Same! Also never tire of Poor Places and Art. Great sound, beautiful night. I met some really nice people. The sound in Orlando was sort of crappy. It's really just a concrete box. It's a lot like Hunter Theatre at MassMoca. When I saw Wilco there (benefit show) the sound was not great either. However, when I saw Infamous Stringdusters @ Fresh Grass, sound was fantastic in Hunter.
  8. I freakishly catch Magazine a lot. Twice in one week? I've decided to like it. Now maybe it will go away (JK). I've seen in 03, 04, 11, 12 and now 15. Probably see it at Solid Sound too.
  9. I don't know. It's worth a try, right? haha. I should be OK with 2 days between shows, no need for fountain drinks ...YET.
  10. I was looking at Blue Springs online, glad to know that it's worth checking out! Thanks again.
  11. Maybe those boards are crowded, so he's branching out?
  12. hmmm Maybe the raven space? It's a tough call. Drums space were not so memorable for me. It was a long, long time ago.
  13. Definitely no theme park for us. I'm looking forward to St. Augustine. We have 2 days, so lots of time.
  14. OK, since we moved onto Florida. I can't wait. It's still freezing here, still snow in my yard. Selfishly happy these shows are not well attended. Saying at the Hard Rock and flying in that day. Just Orlando and St. Augustine. What should we do in between? Going with my husband who has seen the band once at Bridge School Festival 2003.
  15. Box Office also told me doors @ 7:30, wrist band @ 10:00
  16. It does not say anything about orgasm, multiple or otherwise. It refers to ejaculation. I love how the thread got 165 views and 6 comments.
  17. I went to Wilco @ the Wang will call only. Doors opened at 6:00. There was no real line until 7:30. I decided to get a beer and go in a little later. Got in line around 7:50 and it took about an hour to get inside, missed some of of Nick Lowe. They had the lines divided by last name initials, apparently lots of Wilco fans are in L-P like me. They tried to change the process midway through and added people to take tickets but we had already been herded into our letter lines, it was dumb and annoying but we all arrived. It was a great show and a beautiful venue.
