its just not the same without Eddie Harsch (one of the best rock&roll keyboard players ever), and Mark Fuckin Fork. it would even be better with Audley Freed back. I'm a Paul Stacey fan, and love him on the Chris solo albums, but the Crowes are just not what they once were. saw them on Halloween. does anyone know why Rich was in a chair all night? The Lost Crowes (The Black Crowes: The Band/Tall Sessions) At least one can buy them now.
I have been to many sold out shows at Hammerstein. its always worth a shot trying to get a ticket outside. my advice: do not deal with a typical scalper. try to find a wilco fan whose buddy or date could'nt make it. someone will always have a extra ticket. be patient, walk up and down the block, check out the corner, survey the situation. good luck/
just wanted to mention a great show I saw recently at the Knitting Facory in NY. great record too, which I must recommend. Ole Taratula. Robyn Hiitchcock, Peter Buck, Bill Reiflin, and Scott McCaughey from Minus5..........get it! larryt
